Squirrels in my walls & rafters
I have been renting from these apartments(UDR) for two yearsI live on the 3rd floor, & since the day I moved in I've been emailing & calling the rental office to complain about squirrels (rodents)They are in the walls & the rafters running around , scratching on the ceiling & walls during the day & all hours of the nightI'm a single mom & these rodents have kept my daughter & I up countless nightsNot only do they keep us awake, it's disgusting, & I'm embarrassed to have guests as it's so loud & gross to have rodents in your walls & ceilingsI have records of countless emails showing how many times I've complainedThey send out someone who puts a trap in the ceiling, they catch them & they stay in the cage jumping around keeping us awake until a day or two later until they come back to get itObviously the rodents are getting in from the outside of the building & they have yet to repair whatever it is that needs to be repaired to end this in
On 6/a squirrel was trapped in the wall inside my apartmentI called the office on numerous times and due to poor management service it died
I am a resident at Calvert's Walk Apartments and have encountered an unhealthy, unsanitary and intolerable situation in my apartmentOn Sunday, June 10, 2018, I was awakened around 8:30a by a squirrel that seemed to have gotten stuck in the wall on the other side of the receiving vent in the living roomWhen I realized what was going on, I called 24-hour maintenanceThe maintenance worker (***) came over to assess the situation, and concluded that it was probably a squirrel that would eventually make its way outWell, the squirrel did not make its way back out*** also stated, he would report it first thing on Monday (the next day) and the person who handles these issues would address it at that timeWell, that did not happen either
