With regards to the complaint submitted by ** [redacted] , the employee in question, ***, would like this response to be noted on his behalf.** [redacted] is the supervisor when the manager of the store is not working** [redacted] has been with the company for years, and is a trusted and loyal employee of Calverton Liquors,All accounts of the confrontation have been confirmed with the surveillancerecorded video and interviewing of eyewitnesses present in the store.Account of the confrontation: On the evening of Friday, August 21*, 2015, ** [redacted] was observed entering the store with another unknown male individualThey appeared to be together because they were observed discussing what to order and ** [redacted] advised the male customer to order a bottle of alcohol from a female employee standing behind the counterOnce at the counter in front of the female employee, the male individual ordered the items from the female employeeThe transaction took place between the female employee and male customer friend of ** [redacted] ** [redacted] was not involved in the transaction in any way, only as an advisor to her male friend, Just as the female employee was obtaining the items and collecting the money for the items from male friend customer, ** [redacted] shouts at the female employee from behind the male customer "you need to do your job and pay attention"The female employee responded in a calm low voice, "Please do not talk to me that way"At this point [redacted] ***, the supervisor, who was standing two feet away behind the counter, interjected and stated, “Please do not be disrespectful to her [female employee]"** [redacted] responded, "no one is talking to you and mind your business"** [redacted] responded, "You can't be rude and telling people to shut up", **, [redacted] became very loud and was screaming and the eyewitnesses confirmed the words to be profanity, ** [redacted] then responded, "keep it up and you will not be able to come to this store any more”Five others witnessed and confirmed ** [redacted] replying, " [redacted] you shut up, you ain't doing ***, you ain'tnobody"** [redacted] responded, "I am going to call the cops"The male customer friend of ** [redacted] successfully attempted to push and plead with ** [redacted] to leave the storeThe female employee completed the transaction with the male customerAnd both the male customer and ** [redacted] left the store,The next day, ** [redacted] and the eyewitnesses discussed in detail with the manager the confrontation that occurred on the evening of August 21, 2015.In the preceding weeks, ** [redacted] returned to the store to make a purchase and was advised very calmly and respectfully by another male employee, ***, that she may not return to storeShe was advised to discuss her situation with the manager** [redacted] returned to the store a few days later to discuss the situation with the manager, and she became very hostile and emotionalThe manager advised her that we at Calverton Liquors reserve the right to refuse service to any one causing a disturbance in a public place of business in front of other customersThe manager felt that her behavior is and was very detrimental to the business of Calverton Liquors and asked her not to return to the store, ** [redacted] was advised if she returned to Calverton Liquors, the police will be called and she will be escorted out of the storeWe at Calverton Liquors do not accept nor condone this type of behavior and language in our place of business.With regards to ** [redacted] 's desired settlement, we will not be calling her to discuss this confrontation.Thank you for time and understanding in this matter [redacted] President of Calverton Liquors
