I had a motor mount replaced at this shop. On the way home the car started running rough and the whole front end was shaking, I took the car back and they adjusted the mount and after I drove it straight home and upon pulling in the driveway the car was over heating,again I had to return the car to their shop,only for them to deny responsibility and to try to charge me an additional $536.09.
We are happy to address *** issue but I am having difficulty locating a record of her transaction.
What was the date of service, city where the Calvert's Express location visited is located, and the name the transaction was invoiced under?
I went to get oil change on 2/9/2019. Doing the following week I start to notice the oil leaking in my driveway, I never had this issue before I called them and informed them my car was leaking oil. They told me to bring it back, I informed them I would bring it back on Friday because of my work schedule. However, the car didn’t make it to Friday it completely shut down the following Thursday after the oil change. I don’t what they did to my car but it was fine before they so called changed the oil. They had me tow the car to the shop and told me that my timing chain messed up and that the car had a leak but prior the the oil change I never had any issues out of my vehicle.

Regarding complaint ***
This complaint was not received at our corporate offices until 03/11/19. Typically, our Revdex.com correspondence are received via e-mail and responses are submitted on-line. I am unsure why this one was processed differently but, for a timely response, it is best to process complaints electronically to ensure they are received at the office and responded to in a timely manner. – ***
I have investigated the situation and find the customers claim to be false. After reviewing the paperwork from when *** was in our shop on 02/08/2019 it is clearly noted that there was already an issue with his vehicle. We stated that his check engine light was on and flashing which indicates that there is a serious problem with the vehicle that could cause catastrophic damage to the engine. We offered to diagnose the problem, but the customer declined that service as it is clearly noted on the invoice that *** has signed. He elected to only do the oil change and declined all other recommended services.
When we perform an oil change we simply drain the oil, remove and replace the filter and fill the vehicle with oil. This process does not fix anything and in turn does not damage anything either. It is simply a maintenance procedure.
When *** returned on 02/18/2019 with his vehicle the oil WAS NOT EMPTY as he stated when he came in. It was 1 quart low and that was due to some massive oil leaks as we noted on the second invoice from 02/18/2019. We checked the drain plug and the oil filter and the leaks were not coming from those 2 areas which were the only 2 areas we touched while performing the oil change.
I truly believe that if *** would have agreed to let us diagnose the problem with his vehicle on his original visit on 02/08/2019, he could have avoided the catastrophic engine failure that resulted from him driving the vehicle with the check engine light flashing and the oil leaking.
We would be happy to offer *** the best possible price to repair his vehicle but due to his negligence we do not feel that we are at fault and will assume no responsibility fixing his vehicle for free.
