Ready to hire an attorney
Spent over $17,000 for membership to RCI through Calypso Cay, paid $700 to unlock points, and paid $150 per year to Ascendents Holidays. Just recently tried to book a trip and RCI says our membership has been cancelled. This is criminal!

I'm continuously being charged for a membership that is useless.
I was told that I would have received membership documents in the mail and have yet to receive them. What was being sold is false! There isn't a number that you can call to reach them on to speak with someone to rectify the matter. It's all a hoax and they have taken quite a large some of money and I would like a refund as well as to stop charging my account.

Desired Outcome

To get a hold of the business and have them refund me!

Case #***, Calypso contract #***

Dear Ms.:

I am in receipt of Ms. (Member) complaint dated August 17, 2020, wherein Member claims misrepresentation, and states that she has been unable to get access to her Club Benefits. We apologize for the confusion with this Program and thank you for the opportunity to respond.

Timescape Resorts, LLC (TR) denies that it or any of its representatives made any misrepresentations of the Calypso Escapes and Club365 Program during the sales presentation or at the time that she executed the Club Membership Agreement documents. On the date of purchase, Member signed the Club Enrollment Application which states, "I understand that the CLUB365 Program is governed by all CLUB365 Terms and Conditions which are located online at TheCLUB365.com.

Our records indicate that Member was enrolled in CLUB365 on March 16, 2016 and was assigned membership number***. We also notated that we have waived two (2) years of the $199.00 renewal and have not charged Member the renewal.

As we have complied with all of the terms of the Club Membership Agreement, we will not cancel nor refund. We encourage Member to view the website TheCLUB365.com to learn about all of the benefits. The login is her email address. If Member will email me, I will reply with the initial password that was assigned on March 16, 2019. (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
After reviewing the response it doesn't address the true issues as well as there is misrepresentation of the dates stated. These are the facts that should have been addressed.

1. The financial obligation of the sales contract has been satisfied. I'm still being charged monthly which should not be.

2. Time Escape has failed to send a copy of the initial contract upon signing which was initially advised.

3. There isn't a number given/listed for customer service regarding questions of the contract or to void it which was told could have done within I believe 30 days. The number that comes up in *** doesn't allow you to speak with a live person and the voicemail is always full.

4. The platform that was given to use was suppose to give some sort of savings as well as access to various locations which is not accurate. The information that was not communicated was that you don't get to choose your dates and many times there isn't anything available as well locations are limited for the $299/wk deal.

Signage was done based on the presentation but there wasn't any documents given for the customers to view the pro's and con's. The presentation highlighted the minuscule of "benefits" that would come with the contract. It's one thing to be in sales but sell something that can actually be utilized as well as providing customer service to the clients that was sold.

Dear Ms.:

I am in receipt of Ms. (Member) rebuttal dated September 7, 2020, wherein Member claims misrepresentation, and states that she has been unable to get access to her Club Benefits and has claimed paying in full, but auto payments are still being drafted. I apologize for missing the deadline to respond, but still wanted our response on the record.

Member received copies of all of her documents on the date she signed the agreement on March 16, 2016. No further documents were to be sent to her. Member signed the Promissory Note agreeing to 36 monthly payments, of which, she has paid 17. She may call Account Services at 407-997-1551 for questions regarding her exact finance terms. Account Services will also be able to provide the same copies of her documents.

The travel product they sold is NOT what they made it out to be. The supposed savings is NOT accurate in fact booking through them is more expensive.
When we booked our tour we were supposed to stay in the condo, however they booke dus in a hotel. The supposed "free" tickets were not usable at the park due to the park being closed. I gave us a supposed free vacation to the Dominican Republic that I have NEVER been able to redeem. The booking options through club 365 are $100 or more expensive even when using the supposed $6000 savings dollars toward discounts. There are NO RCI credits. We were told in order to receive those credits we had to make an additional $730 purchase. The cost of booking a hotel through RCI without credits is more expensive than booking through air bnb or Priceline or just directly through the booking agency at the resort. Their is no exclusivity and to book out it takes MONTHS some almost a year. There are hidden costs involved in many as well as some being nudist colonies. They can NOT explain to me exactly what my $5400 earned me in benefits. $6000 savings dollars is about the equivalent to $20 savings on a hotel booking. However that same booking is $100 through Travelocity or Priceline. This has been the most deceptive and dishonest company. There is no transparency. I was supposed to receive my log in information within 21 days of purchase however after over a month I had to call and demand it. Purchased Nov 25th and They did NOT provide my login info until I called and emailed after January 1st stating they were already in breach of contract. My direct contact has changed each time and I have had to fight for each supposed "benefit" I was offered. This is a TERRIBLE company!

Desired Outcome

I just want my money back. I do NOT want this membership. It is complete false advertisement and deception. I do NOT want anything to do with this company or its affliates. They are manipulative and fraudulent. They have taken my money and provided me with absolutely NOTHING in return. I could have traveled to 5 different places for the amount of money I have spent on this supposed discounted membership.

Case***, contract #***

Dear Ms.:

I am in receipt of *** and *** (Members) complaint dated June 9, 2020, wherein Members claim misrepresentation and requesting to have their membership canceled and refunded.

Upon reviewing their account, we have noted the following phone calls and one email:

11/26/19 Introduction Call.
12/27/19 Welcome Call Attempted, no answer.
12/28/19 Follow up call, member stated she has still not received her logins.
1/10/20 Welcome Call Completed.
3/16/20 Follow up call, answered general questions about RCI and Club 365.
3/17/20 Resent RCI login steps via email.
6/4/20 Mrs. stated she was having a hard time booking through RCI. Representative explained the benefits.
6/6/20 Follow up call, no answer.
6/9/20 Member called back stating she finds better prices online. The Representative
re-explained to member how to use her points and the main benefits of RCI.

Members bought a 1-bedroom unit with the availability to exchange their week with RCI. Members' week is valued at 46,000 RCI points. Once they are ready to exchange their week, Members must pay $730.00 to activate their points. To date, Members have not paid the $730.00 fee, and therefore, they do not have access to use their points.

I have attached the Purchase Proposal and Membership Agreement, signed and initialed by the Members, showing their understanding of the terms and conditions of their Membership.

As we have complied with the Membership Agreement, we will not be offering a cancelation or refund of the Membership.

Please close this case.

I purchased a timeshare and was never provided the benefits. I demanded a refund and was sent a confirmation email stating they would refund my money.
Timeshare was purchased December 27 and on February 19 after numerous phone calls I demanded a refund. A confirmation email was sent to me on February 19 stating they would refund my money. To date no refund has been issued and my account has not been canceled.

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund +2 free weeks at their resorts.

Calypso Cay Vacation Club Response • Mar 20, 2020

Dear Ms.:

I am in receipt of Ms. complaint dated March 5, 2020, wherein Ms. claims a refund hasn't been issued and is requesting two (2) free weeks at the resort.

At the time that Ms. filed this complaint, the refund was still in process. The refund was credited to Visa ending in #*** on March 9, 2020 in the amount of $3,500.00. I have attached a receipt for her records. The account was also canceled on this date.

We will not be offering the requested two (2) free weeks. The rescission period for the Calypso Cay Vacation Club expired on December 30, 2019. We were not required to allow the cancelation of the Club nor issue a refund. However, on February 19, 2020, we chose to allow it, which relieved Ms. and Mr. of their contractual obligations. No further compensation is due on this account.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
To date, We have now received our refund.

We do not feel that simply fulfilling a refund when the product/service we purchased was NEVER provided to us, warrants closing this case.

We requested two weeks of resort stays in addition to full refund in order to resolve this case. The two weeks of resort stay was to accommodate us for the lack of service and ethics we endured working with this company and to compensate us for the money they held for over 2 months and for the hours of phone calls we had to engage in, JUST, get our money back for a product we NEVER received.

Sheryl L G, Executive Administration for Timescape Resorts, LLC states "We will not be offering the requested two (2) free weeks. The rescission period for the Calypso Cay Vacation Club expired on December 30, 2019. We were not required to allow the cancellation of the Club nor issue a refund. However, on February 19, 2020, we chose to allow it, which relieved Ms. and Mr. of their contractual obligations."

Her statements are absolutely inaccurate.

First Timescape NEVER provided the product we purchased. We purchased the product and were told that we could book that day. We received our welcome phone call and was told that we wouldn't even have a login for 3 weeks and this was standard. After waiting 3 weeks we initially engaged with timescape asking for the product we purchased to be available and they fixed it in a couple of days, but not until we had demanded a supervisor. Then the product available wasn't what we had purchased, it was missing the shopping option. More phone calls from us asking them to fix it and they could not for whatever reason. After almost 2 weeks of engagement I demanded a refund that they wouldn't provide until I threatened legal action and resourcing the Revdex.com. Refunding money for a product never provided after 3 months is hardly a fix.

Secondly we were not "relieved" of our contractual obligation, as WE had completed our obligation 100% on 12/27/19. Timescape collected and held our money for over 2 months without providing the product they promised. We were not relieved of our obligation; we were refunded for a product and services Timescape failed to provide.

Timescape defaulted on the contract they had with us and did not refund our money until we threatened them. Two weeks of resort stay in addition to full refund, to close this case is a modest request. We ask that this case not be closed unless Timescape reconsiders the 2 weeks of resort stays.

Thank you,
Ms. and Mr.

Ms. toured at our property on August 18, 2018, during which time she purchased a timeshare property at Calypso Cay Resort. The Club 365 is a scam. Pablo and Vlad are involved in the presentation and selling of the membership and make false statements and guarantees.
On 1/10/19, my husband and I attended a presentation at Calypso Cay for RCI - THE CLUB 365 membership. They promise you vacations at $299 for 7 night stays anywhere in the world with no blackout dates, any available week. NOT TRUE!!. The day and months are limited and compared to the villas/hotels direct sites, there is no savings on hotels, villas, cruise lines and any other services offered on their site. You are just giving your money away with no benefits in return. After a few minutes, Vlad offer everyone in the room a discount to the first person that would sign up for membership. At first my husband and I told them we weren't interested and were about to leave when we were offered another discount. We were already there 3 hours for a presentation that should have only been 90 mins. Our representative continued to try to persuade us to become members. We are now out thousands of dollars for services that we were promised and not given. We hope there is a way when can get out of this contract. They should not be able to make a profit by making false statements. I did not receive the services that they convinced me I would receive. The day after the presentation, I contacted them, spoke with someone and left a message for a call back. I was told to expect a call in the evening and no one got back to me. I tried contacting them and to this day, I have been given the runaround.

Desired Outcome

I want to be able to get out of the contract whatever way I can. I want a refund and I want them to be held liable for their misrepresentation of the services provided by The Club 365.

Why do I have to pay an additional annual fee of $124 dollars to have access to the RCI membership. It will not allow me to register and give access to any information unless I pay the fee. So what is the purpose of all the money I was charged and still have to pay? Access to RCI should be included.

My name is Vanessa ***. I am requesting assistance in regards to the unethical customer service and my request to cancel a contract asap.
Dear Madam or Sir,

My husband and I attended a tour meeting on October 4, 2019 at Calypso Cay Resort in Kissimmee, FL. with sales representative Marvin, Pablo and Vlad. All sales representative insured us that CLUB360 and RCI was not associated with timeshare and different in the aspects of unlimited traveling worldwide without blackout dates, yet we have seen several recent reviews and looked over the contract further which sounds just like the old timeshare traveling program, which we were "TOTALLY" against when we were speaking to Vlad, Marvin and Pablo on October 4. Therefore, we mailed a certified letter (see attachment)stating a request to cancel the membership immediately and DO NOT want to be bounded by this Purchase Agreement, which is within our rights being the third day past October 4, when we signed the original contract (see attachment) and a full refund. The certified mail was signed by B Brianna (see attachment for proof). We have also called Calypso Cay Resort and Tour Center in FL (407-***) continuous since October 7 up to today and was told that neither gentleman was at work, advised to leave a name, number and message to cancel contract and a fund (which I did several times and no one returned my call). On several phone calls attempts, a male answered the phone and hung up after I introduced myself. I also sent an email to several departments and people directly at Calypso Cay in FL and sad to mention no one has replied (see attachment).

After dealing with the unethical customer service, on October 7, 2019 at 2:05PM eastern time, I contacted the *** credit card company (@ 877-***)to dispute and cancel the transaction of $2500.00 to Calypso Cay Vacation Club (RCI/Club365) asap. A male representative inform me that a transaction had not been made at the time and to contact Calypso Cay in FL in regards to cancelling the contract. I called *** credit card company again on October 8th, 2019 @ 11:21 AM eastern time; I spoke to a female representative named Erra, who filed the dispute claim on my newly opened account ending in *** and said it would take up to 90 days to do an investigation. She assured me the transaction will remain in pending until the investigation was complete. The claim number associated with my account is CIS-***.

At this point, we feel our trust has been violated and we have been taken advantage of by the manipulation of Marvin, Pablo, Vlad and Calypso Cay office staff. Therefore, I am requesting assistance and hope that you can help confirm dissolving this issue asap with a full refund back to the credit card. I strongly believe to give respect and do what is right, which is all we are requesting in return.

Sincerely,
Vanessa ***

Desired Outcome

I (Mr. and Mrs. T) are requesting to cancel the membership immediately and DO NOT want to be bounded by this Purchase Agreement of Calypso Cay Vacation Club (RIC/Club365), which at the time within our rights being the third day past October 4, when we signed the original contract. Also, a full refund or cancellation of transaction on the new Barclay Bank credit card ending in 7245 in the amount of $2500.00 immediately. In additional, it is unethical to avoid customers phone calls and not respond to business related issues concerning a contract that your business represented.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Dear Linda ***,

First of all, thank you for promptly working towards an equally, fair solution in this case.

After reading the respond from the Executive Administration (Sheryl ***) at Timescape Resorts LLC (Calypso Cay) I am NOT fully convinced by her statement. Sheryl mentioned the certified letter was received on October 11, which is NOT true. I attached evidence of the United States Postal System tracking as proof, the certified letter was signed and received on October 8th by Brianna (Calypso Cay employee). I also called Calypso Cay (Timescape Resorts LLC) and verified with another employee name Leslie, who confirmed the mail was received.

As of today, I still have not received a "direct notice of any sort from Timescape Resorts LLC (Calypso Cay) confirming the contract is cancelled and the charge of $2500.00 is fully refunded". Because of the lack of communication, another certified letter was mail on our behalf (see attachment). I am requesting to continue leaving this case open until *** credit card company confirm the $2500.00 is fully refunded. To expedite the confirmation of the refund, it would help if Sherly *** (Executive Administration) and/or Joanna Meyer (CFO) send me a statement on a letterhead or email confirming the cancellation of the contract #*** and the $2500.00 is fully refunded to the credit card I received from *** ending #3881. This request is for me to send a copy to *** and for my personal record for future reference if needed.

We (my husband and I) believe this case should not be closed by Sherly's demand but until it is found to be completely satisfied by me. I am just as concern about my credit (money) as they are about their business reputation. All this could have been avoided, if employees and owners of Timescape Resorts LLC (Calypso Cay) would have handled this professionally. As soon as I receive the requested notice as stated above, I will kindly consider closing the case. Until then, Sheryl's response is not validated.

Again, thank you Revdex.com for helping to resolve this matter. I will respond back as soon as I receive the requested notice from Sheryl at Timescape Resorts LLC (Calypso Cay). If there are any concerns, please email me.

Thank you in advance for your consideration,

We did not get what we paid for and we want to be released from the contract and get a refund.
I have been trying to get my questions answered and get some help for several months now. I have sent a certified letter, emails, and spent hours and days on the phone without out luck. I have left my number many times and no one has called me back. We joined the Calypso Cay Escapes RCI/365 vacation club on June 6th, 2019. We have never received the free vacations or the RCI password and ID number. We were to get exchange points for RCI as indicated in the first email we received in July. Our primary interest in joining this club was to belong to RCI. But this doesn't seem to be the case. We have been told that we need to sign up with RCI and buy vacations from them. My primary concern that I voiced repeatedly was that because we are senior citizens we do not want a lifetime commitment nor do we expect to be traveling much longer. I was reassured multiple times that this was a pay as you travel program that is easily paused or discontinued completely with a fee of $29 when desired with no long term commitment. I have been trying to have someone explain the program since June and recently I have been asking how to get out of the program. We have derived no benefit from the program and since we have had no mail or vacations sent to us as promised, we would like to get money back and dissolve the contract. I have called 22 different numbers only to be told that no one can help me and offered another number to try. I was told that there is no number for customer service and that I can only get in touch with them through an agent. I tried this and kept getting disconnected or sent to the wrong department. Then I was told that I could not speak to them on the phone and only through email. So I have emailed with no results. When I was calling in July, I was told that it was taking longer than normal to process and to call if it had not processed by the end of the week. When I called back, no one answered at that number. I was put in touch with the incentives department that told me that we were not entitled to our vacations and they said someone would call me back that day. That was in August and no one has called. Because of the lack of customer service and the lack of follow through on what I was promised, I am beginning to think that these are purposely deceptive practices. I am trying to include more information like the contract but I guess there is a limit on this site so please let me know how to attach more information. The contract is 5 pages. My account number on the contract is ***.

Desired Outcome

We wish to be released from this contract since they have not done what they were supposed to in a timely manner. Since we are unable to use the club as we were told and because we have not received the information (RCI points, ID, Password) nor the 2 free vacations ( a 7 day stay with RCI and Calypso Cay Resorts.), we feel that we should be given money back. I would like the strain of this frustrating situation to be resolved. We want to be sure that we are no longer obligated to this vacation club for any further fees, membership or charges and want to have that in writing.

Customer Response • Sep 24, 2019

Thank you for getting back to me and relieving my mind about exposing personal information publicly. I am sending you the contract and other information. Some things in the contract seem ambiguous to me and on some of the others I don't trust Timescape Resorts to honor. For example, since I don't have a phone number to contact them and since certified mail goes unacknowledged, how can I trust that they would not automatically bill me for the dues even I contacted them 90 days prior? Thank you so much for your help in dealing with this company.

Dear Ms. Mitchell,

Thank you for notifying us of the complaint filed with your organization by Mrs.. We have reviewed her complaint and hope our response provide resolution to her grievance with our organization. To recap her written complaint, Mrs. claims she had trouble contacting anyone who she felt could assist her, even after trying multiple numbers, she didn't receive the promised first day incentives and that she wanted to belong to RCI and claims RCI didn't show her as a member. Below is our response that should clarify the issues listed in her complaint. Thank you again for the opportunity to respond.

Mrs. purchased into Calypso Escapes on June 6th, 2019 which entitled her to access into Club365 and the RCI Weeks program. She was e-mailed log in credentials for Club365 as pursuant to Item # 10 on her Membership Agreement that we have attached for your review. Calypso Escapes has a customer service number (833-***) and a website (***.com) where Mrs. will find links and numbers to all of the programs she has. It is unclear where she located twenty-two unique numbers, but the number she needs to call for assistance is 833-***. This number is listed at the top of the website (screenshot for your records). Mrs. has accessed our website previously, as it shows her e-mail and a password already established. Attached you will find copies of the promotional first day incentives given to Mrs.. These were previously mailed to her, but we have no problem reissuing if she did not receive them. Originals have been put into regular mail for her.

The Calypso Escapes website login and password are the same as the one established for Club365. The username and passwords are identical. She can find a link to Club365 right on our website at www.***.com. As for her RCI weeks membership, this one did take longer to establish than normal and for that we apologize. She may also access the RCI website, from ***.com. While we do not agree to cancel or refund at this time, I am sure with this information, Mrs. and her husband can easily access all the benefits for which they purchased and should now know how to access all the benefits from one site and customer service number. Should she need further assistance, we will be happy to help in any way possible. Thank you again for the opportunity to respond.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We are not satisfied with the response because the main issue was not addressed. I still have not been able to talk to anyone about the contract. I have called the number listed, 833-***, in the response numerous times without anyone being able to answer my questions. I have been given alternate numbers to call because the people at this number said I would need to contact the people that sold me this membership. And there began a merry chase to track down someone that would accept onus and talk to me. I have included the 22 different phone numbers that belong to this company that I have called without success. The delaying tactics and lack of straightforward communication is concerning. The issue is one of trust. It took several months and a report to Revdex.com to get a response, even though the response fails to address my primary concerns. We have never received anything in the mail including no free trips that were promised. We do not want the free trips or this vacation club due to the difficulty in getting answers. It appears to be a waiting game. We are seniors and as such made it clear that we do not want to have a long term commitment. We do not wish to belong to the vacation club and we are concerned the club will automatically charge the dues and keep our membership active. Since no one responded to my certified letter or called me back or answered my emails, I doubt they will acknowledge that we do not wish to renew our membership. We don't want Automatic Billing of the dues and we don't want to use this club. We have not been able to use the club since we joined in June even though I tried repeatedly to get answers and help in order to use the club throughout the summer. We wish to terminate the agreement and have money returned to us because we have not had benefit of the club and do not wish to at this point. The contract says they will send an email a month prior to the membership expiration. Is there a way we can exit or terminate the contract before then? I do not trust this process to be handled correctly based on these several months of no communication and no response to my pleas for help, I fear there will be no one to help me in the eventuality they automatically renew my membership erroneously. Please honor our desire to not renew this membership and not incur further charges. We wish to have no further obligation to this vacation club. We need to have these issues addressed.
When I began calling in June about using RCI, I was bounced back and forth between RCI and club 365 each telling me the other was the entity to deal with and they could not help me. Then I was told to talk to the people that sold me the club, I called the sales department and after repeated calls and messages they said they only handle sales and could not answer questions. One time in July, I got my hopes up when RCI told me everything would be handled by the end of the week and to call back if not but it wasn't fixed and no one answered the line when I called back on 6 tries over 5 hours. One of the numbers I called went right to music for 10 minutes then the recording said they were not available and to leave a message but when I tried the mailbox was full. Another operator told me that they would direct my call to someone one that could help me but when transferred the message said he was out of the office. I called back the main number 4 times over the space of three hours and there was no answer by the operator. I was told that I could not call customer service directly and that an agent would have to connect me. So I called an agent to connect me. I waited on the phone for 45 minutes only to have the call answered by someone in reservations that said they had no idea how to answer my questions. When I called back, I was on hold for 32 minutes when the call clicked and went back to the main menu. I called the reservation number listed in the response and was told I could only contact those in charge through email but still no response to my 6 emails. These are just a sample of the frustrations I have faced in trying to speak to someone for several months now. I have all the phone numbers of the failed attempts to talk to someone. I have the calls to the incentives department that told me I did not have any free vacations. They told me the person that handles that was out of the office but would return my call by the end of the day. I am still waiting for that call back from August. I have the emails and certified letter that no one responded to about my concerns. I feel ignored and I feel these practices stem from an overwhelmed company or a deceptive one. There should be a customer service person that I can talk to that can help me. My emails have been respectful and pleading for help. I ask again, please help.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I still do not see a proposed resolution regarding my financial obligation to this club. I would like to get further assistance that Luz *** offered. Please, I need Luz *** to verify that I can get out of Club 365 and RCI and not incur any fees or be obligated in any way in the future. I want to be sure that I don't have to do this every year or face penalties or further fees. I need to know that I have no financial obligation to this club. I do not want automatic billing or anything else that would cause me to owe this company.
I called the suggested customer service number again. This time after a few tries, I talked to a very nice and helpful person, Jenettie, who said "All you have to do is call us and let us know that you would like to opt-out and we will put a note on your account and you will not have to pay until you want to use the club again" and she said I did not have to wait for my expiration date to opt-out. I am hoping that this is the case but when I asked if that meant there would be no more fees of any kind for club 365 and RCI and that no fees would accrue and that in essence we would be finished with the club, she said she was going to transfer me to accounting to be sure that this is the case. I was on hold briefly and Diana, also very nice and helpful, came on the line. She said that she thought this was the case but since she only deals with scheduling she would put me on hold to talk to an accounts manager. When she came back on the line, she told me that no account managers were available. She said they would get back to me by the end of the day but they did not call me back. I am having trouble getting a straight forward answer about how to end this contract and have no further obligation with this company. I am hoping that Luz *** will indeed provide further assistance and help me get solid answers to my questions.

I would like my deposit back and the harassment to stop.
I purchased the RCI Club 356 March 27/2019. I then cancelled within the grace period Mar 29/2019. I was given a copy of my agreement signed cancelled that date. I did this in person at Calypso Cay Resort. They told me I would have my deposit back in 2weeks. I never received anything from them till I started receiving collection calls daily. For months now I have been trying to settle this. I call number after number and never get anyone. I finally got a call from a Leslie and she said to fax in my papers, which I did and still nothing. They tell you in the meeting you can cancel and get a full refund within 3days which I did. I really think I have been caught up in a scam. Thank you for the help.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund and the collection calls to stop. Also if anything has been put on my credit rating for it too be removed

Re: Case #*** Calypso Contract #***

Dear Ms.:

I am in receipt of Ms. complaint dated September 18, 2019. Thank you for the opportunity to respond.

Ms. purchased a Calypso Escapes membership at the Calypso Cay Vacation Villas in March 2019. Since her purchase we have been in communication with Ms. several times at which time she advised us of this cancellation. We explained we needed proof of the cancellation letter she had provided as we did not receive it in our administrative office. We recently received a copy of this cancellation notice that she sent directly to someone in our office, and we will be honoring the cancellation request. A down payment refund is being processed and this contract has been cancelled in our system.

I spoke with Ms. today, and explained our final decision and the timeframe to expect the refund. It is my understanding that Ms. is satisfied with this solution. Should she need further assistance she can reach me directly via email at ***@***.com.

Please close this case.

Re: Case #*** Calypso Contract #*** B

Dear Ms.:

I am in receipt of Mr. & Mrs. B complaint dated August 6, 2019. Thank you for the opportunity to respond.

Mr. and Mrs. B purchased a Calypso Escapes membership at the Calypso Cay Vacation Villas in May 2019. Since their purchase we have been in communication with Mr. and Mrs. B several times. At one point, we had one of our representatives walk them through the process of logging in to their online portal for Club365 and our RCI Liason walk them through the RCI account benefits. After this, Mr. and Mrs. B were still not satisfied with the process of accessing their benefits and the benefits that they have received. We have made multiple attempts to try to address their concerns and help them understand how to access their benefits on this web-based product but unfortunately we have not been able to satisfy their demands. After careful review, we have decided to cancel this contract and refund the payment made by Mr. and Mrs. B at the time of sale.

I spoke with Mrs. B today, and explained our position regarding their purchase. It is my understanding that Mrs. And Mr. B are satisfied with this solution. Should they need further assistance they can reach me directly via email at ***@***.com.

Please close this case.
