We had our stereo specialist here for solid days during the week of the 21st and told him to come by either day and we could take a look at itAdditionally, we had an appointment set for Tuesday, October 6th in which the stereo guy drove out
to Nixa and waited minutes and again no show
We made a lot of effort to accommodate Mr*** when he needed a job done in a hurry and we were way backed up which is OK and discounted our rates to be helpfulI honestly don't know if the stereo worked before or not but I DO know we have never had this problem before
I have offered many times to have someone take a look at this issue and determine if it IS something we caused in which case I would gladly take care of it
I sent Mr*** and email with my personal cell number also to see if he could get in touch with me to see when he was available and again no contact
I would gladly have the stereo specialist confirm both appointments we setIn addition, he wasted over an hour of his day waiting this last Tuesday

This is all completely falseThe only email I have from Don is as follows "I have a radio repair guy that I could have look atWhen is convenient" zero follow up to that email and I did NOT get a personal cell numberI had been dealing with chip the entire time and would be more than happy to print out all text messages receivedIf a radio guy was available this only upsets me moreChip was supposed to let me know on time and scheduling but I had never heard back9/is the last I heard from chip and I had explicitly told him the car was being sold on that dateI had the car for weeks since the radio was bustedChip had looked at the radio directly and it had water damageFrom a steam cleaning likelyI have multiple, multiple witnesses who can voucher for the before and after, and my entire office
I had replied to his email with " Hello Don, thanks for getting back with me, I spoke to chip this morning and he said around 3pm todaySo if that's still and option it works for meThanks"
In which I received NO call or text back from chip nor an email back from Don this was on Sept 17th after multiple calls to chipI was forced to escalate to Don (I don't generally like to go to the owner until I exhausted efforts)
My buyer had called me this past week and stated that the business has not been returning his callsFrankly if he was too busy to do a good job just say noI could've have taken it to numerous other detail shopsBeing too busy is hardly an excuse, yet being in the business I can understandChip offered to work with my buyer to get the issue resolvedNow the buyer is complaining to me it wasnt
I don't want to take this further as the insurance should cover this, but I would like this to be resolved amicablySo I'm asking for the radio to be fixed, this is all

I am having it fixedI had different stereo repair facilities inspect it and found no damage of any kindIt also is a common problem on that make and model of carBUT we decided it is better to make *** happy

While I understand they may not have found any damage, there was clear water marks on the screen when it was received back, and the screen had went out during the detailI received the car back initially with the radio turned off (I don't know if this is a standard practice) but that would require someone having the car on and turning it off manually(I would think that details are done with the car off, so didn't make much sense to me.)
I did not want any further refund or discount, and the money isn't a concern to meI wouldn't be willing to go so far if it was not something I feel legitimately happened because of the detailI know odd things happen, but a radio going out during the detail, with a water mark showing, is too odd of a coincidence for me to accept that there is no relationIf this car was shown to the owner,during the time period I had the car, or I sent the emailIt would have been seen
