The date (7/25/15) the customer states as the installation date is incorrectCAM HVAC Services, installed a new Trane XLicondenser with a Trane air handler on 7/29/25.
Customer states we had a problem getting unit startedThis is correctThere was an issue with the wiring (this is normal) I only told the customer to keep him informedGot the new ac system up and runningEverything was working and cooling fine*** *** was happy and said what a great job we did and thank usI tried several times calling the customer Thursday and Friday to follow up to see how things wereWe do this with all our customersHowever *** *** never answered his phoneI received a call from *** *** on 8/1/saying his ac system wasn't workingI was out of state until Sunday nightWhen I got back in town on 8/2/myself and my mechanic went out the the job siteWe arrived at7pmThe ac system was not runningWe located the problemIt was a back pitched drain in the crawl spaceWe took pictures went up to show *** *** the problemCAM fixed the drain at no charge to the customerThis had nothing to due with our installationWhen we left *** ***'s home on 8/2/he was happy and thank us for coming outHe also asked me for some business cards so he could hand them outAs for the customer stating I told him to not turn the temperature down past This is correctI tried to explain to the customer the reason is: that over time it could and will cause damage to the compressorAs for the customer stating I would not fill out "his" applicationThis too is correctI explained to *** *** on 7/29/that the application he had was only part of the whole rebate application and that he would receive all pertinent paper work from our officeWe due this for several reason:
To ensure everything is filled out correctly.
We have load calculation papers that need to be sent in with application
We also need to send in a paid in full receipt(We had to wait for check to clear in order to be paid in full)
Everything gets mailed out all at the same time so nothing gets lostOnce check was cleared our office mail out the rebate package via the US Post Office with a return receiptWe received the return receipt saying *** *** received his rebate package*** ***'s system has been working fineIf you require any other information please just give our office a call ***

Review: new central air system was installed on 7/25/15. had problems with getting unit to start. was told to keep at 70 degrees to dehumidify home. we tried to go to 68 degrees and unit shut down. was jump started at 70 degrees and stayed on. rich came back 8\2\65 at 7:00 pm. he stated the unit can be damaged over time unless kept 70 degrees or above. rich stated the drainage pipe was the reason for the unit not working. the unit a Trane XL 1 8i had great reviews from Consumer Reports and other reliable sources is the reason I chose it' you also get a 500.00 rebate from COOLA dvantage Program in Ocean County. I showed the application to rich but he would not fill it out and give me the paperwork that was needed. he stated he would send it by mail.Desired Settlement: new central air system continues to work on a steady basis. I get the paperwork signed for my COOLAdvantage Program. replacement of unit if more problems arise. I also documented the outside condensing unit was a 2015 unit but the convertible air handler was from 2014.
