The only reason that I am responding to these slanderous charges is so that I can forward your threats of publicly displaying these slanderous accusations to my attorney.
The Texas Property Code requires that I am to
give the tenant an accounting of all monies withheld from their deposit within days of the end of their lease agreementI am required to do so only if I receive a forwarding address from the tenantI have no requirement or obligation to track a former tenant down for one and I did not receive one from the ***'sA deduction page was completed for the ***'s just like one is for every tenant that leaves one of my properties(See attached document)As you can see, they did not clean the unit upon move out and did not have the carpets cleaned and pet deodorized as required on the cleaning charge addendum that I went over with them and that they signed when we executed their lease agreementAlso attached, is the pet addendum showing they have two cats, that damaged drywall in the extra bedroom that they used as a kennel for them and replacing of carpet padding that the deodorizing did not take the urine smell out of. Second, I have also included the email from *** stating that they would be moving out when their lease expired and were thankful for everything that my company provided for them during their lease term(Copy of date stamped email attached)Third is the final estimated electric bill and the last bill that the ***'s had not paid by the August 1st due date that they were required to and agreed to have paid prior to their move out(See Attached bills)
Fourth is a request of rental information that I filled out for a company in Houston that the ***'s attempted to lease from that I filled as per the company's request and stated that the ***'s still had not paid me their final utility bills(See attached request)
Fifth, if they actually had on attorney give them advice and they did want to attempt to recover money that they think I unjustly witheld, they should have been advised to file a claim in small claims court instead of waiting six months to write a letter to you on 1/12/at 12:am., in what may have been a drunken stupor, that would not in any way get money returned to them as they claim that they are owed.
Based on you know having a correct and supported chronological timeline of the events surrounding the ***'s termination of their lease agreement with my company, I will consider this matter resolved, and that you will not be publishing any of this frivolous complaint for public consumption anywhere except in the delete file of your computer or your trash can*** ***, ***
