Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [redacted] is leaving out a few details First he said the stone should come out to make an accurate appraisal, that's one I told him I would not only bring the appraisal back to the person who appraised it for a signature which I got today, but I'll take it anywhere else More than one person told me the stone and entire set was NOT WORTH WHAT WE PAID So what it was a pawn broker, he is certified to give an appraisal I'll take it somewhere else, more than one person said this was not worth what we paid The stone in this set is the original, the place where we took it I'm sure has surveillance, nothing was switched That accusation is disgraceful That's like calling is liars, the only liars in this case are the people who said they were selling us good quality merchandise when in fact they did the complete opposite They took advantage of a young couple These people are not taking responsibility for the what they sold to us I am willing to get another appraisal from a party I know will not have an bias, someone that does not know me or someone at Cambridge, that's the fair approach with this I do not accept or agree with what [redacted] said, he's standing by this product and I understand that, but they did not and are not doing the right thing What's the next step? In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted] ***

why cant the check be deposited?

On 09/**/2014 I met [redacted]& [redacted] in our store. I explained to them that there appraisal was done by a pawn broker who doesn't know the cost of new product. In conversation with [redacted] I was...

informed that the diamond was taking out from the mounting for appraising which is a practice that is not necessary for appraising but only for buying. Since this diamond does NOT have a serial number how do I know that the jeweler did not switch them when he did the appraisal?
In concluding my conversation with [redacted] & [redacted] I asked them what they would like me to do...[redacted] response was " I don't want you to do anything"

Review: In January 2013 my husband and I purchased a wedding set (engagement ring & wedding band) from Cambridge Jewelers, we spent around $3300 on these two items. Today I found out that they are not worth anything near what we spent, in fact they are close to being worth nothing. I called Cambridge Jewelers today to express my disgust and the response I got was disgusting, the "[redacted]" expressed no remorse, as matter of fact he sounded like he didn't care at all. I'm unsure of his name, sounded like [redacted]. I found the card of the sales person, [redacted] who sold us the piece and called her as well, but was unable to get her on the phone. I want my money back, this is disgusting. My husband and I not in the position to take a loss like that; we went into that store after losing everything we had in Hurricane Sandy, we put our trust in them and this is what we find out. I find it sickening to say the least.Desired Settlement: I have the receipt we paid around $3300
