Doesn't identify charges, haven't received charges in writing, refusal to contact my wife directly as requested, has been over weeks which we were told was the time frame needed to get us our return back to us Charges SHOULD ONLY be for shampooing carpet & 1hr cleaning charge for cleaning inside of oven Anything more shows dishonesty on Cambridge as these were the charges we had before when we moved upstairs...we've got witnesses who helped us clean & even the tenant below us that's supposedly moving to our old apt that we just vacated oct 22nd It's taking our complaint to the Revdex.com to get a response...we've had a long history of Cambridge not responding so we'll believe that we're getting our deposit back & that it's FAIRLY CALCULATED when we see the charges & our check...both have been requested with no response & is why the Revdex.com is involved.Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:Sincerely,*** ***

I am sorry to hear that you've had a bad experience with our company. The Regional Manager Susanne W*** and I both received messages from our reception desk
regarding your move-out, but all messages indicated that it was your mother who was calling. MsW*** attempted to return your mother's calls to let her know that we cannot discuss charges with third parties without written authorization from the leaseholder, but she was unsuccessful in reaching her. We would be happy to discuss your concerns with you. Please let us know how to reach you directly.
Please note that I have personally reviewed your mopaperwork and move-out charges. We did not charge for anything that was noted on your moinspection as a deficiency. Though you cleaned your apartment, there was additional cleaning needed to restore it to the same condition you received it in (ordinary wear and tear excepted). We hired a cleaning company and passed along the exact cost for their work.
In your complaint, you indicated that you had the carpet steam-cleaned. If you are able to supply a receipt for professional cleaning of the carpet, we would be happy to remove the charges for shampooing the carpet

I responded to your initial complete immediately upon receipt.  I was out of state last week and out of the office yesterday.  Though I was not able to provide direct follow-up during that time, my staff made several attempts to reach you and your wife by phone.  Your move-out documentation was reviewed and a revision has been processed.  An e-mail has also been sent to you detailing the refund provided to you.

From: [redacted] Sent: Sunday, November 27, 2016 1:42 AMHere's my follow up to my case with the Revdex.com...we finally received our security deposit refund check 5 weeks after we moved out...we were told it'd take only 2 weeks!  Going to the Revdex.com is probably the only reason we got our refund at all!  Our recommendation in looking for a place to move to is that you research the mgmt company that overseas the property you want to move to, that you ask the tenants there about what it's like to live there, how business is conducted, are there any issues, also inquire about the resident landlord as well & see if all these aspects are a good fit for you.  Based on our experience with Cambridge mgmt & Knoblock apts of 3.5 yrs, the testimonies of many current & former tenants as well as those in our community of Dayton, Wa that didn't even live at knoblock or were under Cambridge mgmt...we recommend that you don't live at Knoblock apts in Dayton, Wa or at any other property managed by Cambridge mgmt.  You deserve a mgmt company & landlord whose respectful to ALL TENANTS (especially towards veterans & those who are disabled), that's honest, competent, motivated, does things in a timely manner, solves issues fairly, has the tenants best interest in mind, & gives good customer service...YOU WONT GET THIS AT KNOBLOCK APTS IN DAYTON, WA OR FROM CAMBRIDGE MGMT!!!  Knoblock apts & Cambridge mgmt lacks leadership & is MISMANAGED!!!  I hope this'll help you in your search for a new home as we want you to make an informed decision that'll not only be the best for your family, but to keep you from making the mistake that many including us have made by associating with Knoblock apts & Cambridge mgmt.  Thank you for your time & good luck to those who read this complaint to the Revdex.com.

The monthly utility billing is for water, sewer and garbage charges.  These charges were implemented in accordance with state law.  While these charges may seem high, they are consistent with charges in other apartment communities, condominiums and rental homes.  Unfortunately, it is...

cost-prohibitive to install individual water meters for each apartment.  If you believe that there are unauthorized occupants living in other apartments, please let us know which apartments you are referring to and we would be happy to investigate and address that situation.  Sincerely,Jennifer W[redacted]Director of Property Management
