Still Owed Wages From Last Failed Business
When the Potting Shed "went under" I lost thousands as your staff member. Would appreciate anything at this point.

I sent *** an e transfer in the amount of $995 on December 31st 2019 for a well advertised floral class to be held at her "flower school" March 10-14, 2020. She responded to all emails from December 29-31 for a total of 5 times. On February 25th 2020 *** emailed me to say that she "regrettably has to postpone our March Floral Boot Camp due to some repair/construction work here. It is very disappointing " she said. She asked me to join the June session instead which I repeated that I can only attend March due to my gardening business which would not allow me to attend any other time. On February 27th she responded that she was sorry to hear that I would not be able to attend the June class and then said "and yes, I will instruct our Bookkeeper to refund your fee to you." I continued to email her when I didn't receive my $995 and she finally emailed back March 3rd that "I have been down with a bit of a flu bug-apologies Let me check into this for you." and I have not heard back from her since. I have emailed her 3 more times, called her place of business twice (no answer of course), sent her an e transfer request for funds and even sent her a *** message to her business page which shows that she has indeed read my concerns that were very detailed and clear to her that I do not want this bad situation to escalate and I just very simply want my $995 returned to me ASAP. *** She was very quick to answer all of my questions when I was thinking about signing up for the course (and even offered special "today only" discounts) and was very quick to accept the e transfer but now that I am expecting my refund, which she stated she would do, it is like she has dropped off the face of the earth. I have every single email communication printed off and have documented all dates of attempted communication. This has been a very disappointing and eye-opening experience for me and feel very *** by someone who claims to run a "flower school" but does not stand behind her word. What I want is very clear and simple...I want my refund of $995 immediately that I should have received back on February 27th. A simple business transaction has turned into a consuming nightmare for me and I just want it dealt with and out of my life. *** is very present on social media with many, many posts during this entire experience but cannot answer any of my emails, *** message, e transfer request or phone calls. *** I am looking for help to have my much deserved refund of $995 ASAP and don't know where else to turn *** Thank you

Desired Outcome

The resolution I am seeking is very simple. Please send me my refund of $995 as per ***'s email Feb. 27th. I would like it e transferred ASAP. I do not want this stress to continue any longer in my life. I have all documentation and all dates of attempted communication. Thank you for your much needed help with this.

Refund has been given. It took a while but I am very thankful that *** finally followed through with her promise to refund. Thank you.

Problem Date: September 16, 2017
Specific Details:

We were very disappointed in the customer service we received from the Potting Shed regarding our September wedding. The flower quality was poor, and we had paid for a $125 head table floral arrangement that was never received. This item is listed on the quote. Our venue coordinator will confirm the lack of floral arrangement if required.

I was in touch (by phone) with ***, the business owner, on the Monday following our wedding (September 18, 2017), and politely outlined my concerns. She said she's get back to me with a resolution within a few days. This never happened. I texted her to follow up the following Monday (September 25) and received no response. My husband called her that afternoon at 4 pm and was met with a curt "we're closed". I texted her the next day (September 26) to a response that she was "sick in bed". Giving her the benefit of the doubt, I did not contact her again until Monday, October 2, two full weeks after our wedding. She never responded. I texted her again (Tuesday, October 3), to ask when we could talk.

On October 3, she finally returned my text with an email, explaining that the reason why the flowers were so sparse and poor was because of the hurricane in Florida that occurred about a week and a half before our wedding. She was nice enough in her email, and seemed regretful. However, I'm really disappointed in the amount of effort it took to elicit a response, and I'm not thrilled with her reasoning for the lack of flower displays.

We still have not been reimbursed for the missing floral arrangement and it's been more than a month since we first contacted ***. I followed up with her via email on October 10 and still have not received a response.

We would like to be refunded for more than just $125, as the mini-garland sign was small and wilted (worth $50), and the corsages were browning and wilted as well (worth $100).

In our opinion, a supplier issue does not excuse a complete absence of communication, wilted flowers, and a missing floral arrangement.

Desired Outcome

We would like to be refunded for: $125 for the missing head table arrangement $50 for the small and wilted mini-garland $100 for the corsages (4 at $25/each) $275 refund in total.
