Shame or Shameless
I currently stay at 4277 Mazarine place Fairfax VA . and everything is normal and my neighbors are always nice each other .and ver quiet environment.and you can even hear people goin up or down . Untill All of a sudden now we have a lady she moved in with her 2 black pugs and she's asian . And she on the 4th floor . On our building and since she come moved in . I don't really appreciate the fact what she does at her unit . I've been watching her since she moved in to the unit . And something quiet not right . There is so many people in and out of her unit . And I've been listening to her unit from my unit because she's very loud . So I confirmed with my own Experience. She is running a{{{{{ Prostitution}}}} house in her unit...and im thinking to report this to the Fairfax County Sheriff's department. But as a resident in building I want to give her a chance to stop it anytime soon . What should I do .. or wha are my options here

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding Ms [redacted] ***'s previous tenancyI do understand that Ms [redacted] wasn't happy with our decision to charge her for the damaged carpet upon her move out and regarding the noise complaints relating to her neighbor.I'll address the noise complaint issues firstThe first few complaints for the same residents were addressed by phone calls and/or lease violations notices were sent to themEach time the resident responded apologizing or informing us that they weren't even homeWe then asked that she contact the police so we could get proof from the police stating they were being disruptiveThe police were called a few times, but they never issued any violations and we confirm this with them when our office followed up on the matter.Regarding the carpet charges, she was charged a prorate amount for the carpet which was damagedShe was issued a copy of the invoice which shows the cost to replace the carpet as well as the depreciating calculation showing what she'd oweAs Ms [redacted] stated, she was informed that the carpet would necd to be replaced during the pre-walk inspectionThe upfront pet fee and monthly pet fees are non-refundableAs stated in our lease agreement, this is not a deposit and will not be applied towards a balance related to pet damagesOur clients are made aware of this during tours and when they sign the lease.I hope I have addressed all concerns to your satisfactionShould you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me at ###-###-####.Sincerely,Marcus M [redacted] Community Manager Camden Fair Lakes

I am writing regarding complain ID [redacted] Camden has at all times remained in full compliance with its obligations under the lease with [redacted] and Virginia lawWe are not a smoke free community and do no advertise as such.Regardless, we reasonably responded to each complaint from [redacted] by appearing in her unit to investigate her allegationsFrom 9/7/15-9/21/15, we appeared six (6) times in her unit in response to such complaintsHowever, we were never able to detect any smoke smells or odors. After her attorney became involved in the matter, we directed communications to go through our counsel’s office so there has been no further correspondence. We never smelled smoke at all at any of the different times we checked. Please let me know if you need any further information regarding this complaint, and action taken to try to validate an issue.Sincerely, Shannon J Community Manager

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: Evidence of entering my apartment was not provided every single time management said they entered my apartmentWhen management did send me an email specifying details from the visit, the visits were always on weekdays, before 6pmThe strong cigarette smell was most prevalent in the evenings and on the weekends, when people are home. The $air cleaner I bought is helping to capture the smokeI am very disappointed in Camden's lack of concern for a resident who has lived there for over two years and always paid rent on time and been a good resident.
Regards,

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: Camden never showed me the calculations from the invoice to the actual square feet of rugging replaced after asking numerous times even though the maintenance supervisor said the rugs were over years old Marcus was also the most unprofessional manager I've ever experienced by saying "no you are not going" even thought I was informed a month before hand I could do the walk through before I left the property Also the noise and police reports that I've attached that stated there were reports of parties and noise were addressed with "we would never make money if we responded back to every complaint."

M[redacted], Marcus <[redacted]>AttachmentsJan 22 (13 days ago)Good Morning [redacted],I have attached the pet addendum and highlighted section 4 which covers the pet fees not being refundable. I’ve also included the carpet invoice to show her carpet was replaced. Along with the carpet info is a copy that shows how we calculate what a resident will owe. This spread sheet is used on ALL carpet replacements.I also want to go over the morning Miss. [redacted] came to drop off her keys. Miss. [redacted] along with another resident showed up when we opened to return their keys. The other resident gave us their keys, ask if there was anything else we needed, chatted a few minutes and went on their way. During this I help Miss. [redacted] while other staff members tended to the other resident returning keys. She told me she was dropping her keys off, but wanted to do an inspection. I kindly explained to her that an inspection couldn’t be done now as all the guys were busy and an inspection wasn’t scheduled for them. She clearly didn’t like my response, gave the keys and stormed out.  At no point did I disrespect Miss. [redacted] or treat her unprofessionally.I hope what I have provided for you today will help you close out this case. If there is anything at all you need or have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to contact me.Sincerely,
