Was told an alignment would fix my pulling right issue. It did not and kept my money and gave no receipt or paperwork.
I came in because the car I bought pulled to the right and I was told they would do an alignment to fix the problem. I dropped it off early in the morning and told him(the owner presumably) that I work at noon and if it would be done by then he said yes. I've worked doing alignments at wheel works so I know how fast they can be done on a straightforward car like mine 1999 Corolla. I returned little before 12 and the car has not moved and I was told "oh just 20 more minutes". Me being the nice person I am I said no problem I'll have to pick it up tomorrow because I'm leaving to work. When I returned my girlfriend went inside to pay him and was told it was parked in the jack in the box parking lot and its ready. So she paid him cash as per his request and got the key and no recipient or paperwork of any kind. As soon as I pulled into the street I noticed the car is exactly as I left it. I turned around and kindly brought it to the owners attention and let him know they may am have made a mistake because it's the same as when I dropped it off. He then gets the mechanic on the phone and he tells me that he couldn't do the alignment because one of the wheels is bent possibly from an accident so an alignment wouldn't fix my issue of pulling to the right. I went back to the owner and said ok you couldn't fix it so I'd like my money back and he started getting upset and louder. If the car wasn't able to be fixed why wouldn't he say that instead of telling us it's fixed so we would pay him for the key. VERY SHADY I called the police to make a report and they sent an officer. I said look you told me it was all good so I'd pay you and it's not. On top of that you don't give any receipt for the so called service. Worst business I've ever seen. The mechanic got so frustrated that he punched the lift that was holding my car up.
