When the consumer purchased this vehicle the relay switch was out and we agreed to replace itThey then returned demanding a compression test This car was purchased as is , and we explained this to the consumer. They then took the car for their own test at [redacted] and it passed with no issues

She was given the correct title but unknown to Camdenton Motor , there was a duplicate title. As soon as we were made aware of this, we corrected the issue in a timely fashion. When she called to inform us that the car was having problems (engine light was on), we asked her to bring it
in since we could not diagnose the problem over the phone. When I received a call from her, I did not refuse to receive her call but I did have to warn her to not use abusive language. I did tell her that she would need to speak with *** who makes the decisions as far as the cars. I did have to warn her that I needed to disconnect the call due to abusive language. Our cars are sold "AS IS" and we are willing to help with repairs but we are not going to cover the cost for a new engine. We are currently working with *** to have a "new" used engine installed. We have discussed how the cost of the parts and repairs will be divided between the customer and Camdenton Motor

First and foremost our cars are sold as isWhen she contacted me stating she had problems, I asked who had diagnosed the problemsShe just indicated a mechanic but gave me no nameI told her we would assist her in seeing how we could help herI asked her if she could bring me proof from the
mechanic of what was going onI asked her to bring the car up so our mechanic can take a look at itShe indicated to me that she was just going to drop the car off, that she did not want it any longer. I did inform her that it does not work that way. That we could take her to court for the vehicleI did not threaten her as she stated in her complaintOur mechanic did look at the vehicle and his diagnosis was that there was no problem, the car just has noisy struts

All of our vehicles are sold AS IS. I have signed documents I will email over.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. This is not satisfactory to me, I purchased this car on October 15th, 2017. I was told the title was there the week of December 27th, 2017. Which If I ran a business, I would not consider that a timely fashion. I still don't have the title in my possession because now the car does not run, and now I owe penalties on this car, I also had to retain full coverage insurance on the car due to their policy, when I haven't driven the car since 11/14/2017 because the temp tags ran out and I could not get the car titled in my name. They showed no help with the issue of getting a tag, or plate to drive the car. The office manager told me that our family would be fine with just one vehicle since we have done it before. That's not the point. The point is they sold me an unsafe car that didn't have the correct title. A car which broke down 3 times with me and my 14 month old child in it, on the side of the highway. All before I could even get the car in my name. I was recently made aware that I have to still pay for the engine and they would pay for $250 of the  labor. And nothing towards the engine which I was told would be $1300. I did inform her that I talked to my lawyer who told me that they have to provide title in timely fashion and it was out of that time range. Camdenton motors claims they did not know the car was sold to them with the wrong title, but they should be held responsible for checking the title of the vehicles they sell before they leave the lot. I was informed they have ran into this problem before. And if it were me I would be checking title statuses before I sold cars to good customers. I just would like my contract voided and my money back on the car. I didn't pay $920 to rent a car for the 30 days I was able to drive it.
