The phone number I was given to contact this party gives a busy signal each time it is called. This party informed me they planned on staying through the winter months. They came in on the day they moved after the eleven o clock check out time stating that they found a place they could
have a dogThey wanted me to immediately go check out their room and give them their security deposit back. I informed them I needed to check with my attorney as to what to do concerning tax due and / or charges for the room. They were receiving a cut rate for staying by the month but making weekly payments. That room is $per day (with tax 50.64)...it is per day when rented for days or more (per wk with tax) They paid per month...the monthly rate (per day) which breaks down to $per wk...IF THEY ARE STAYING the month. With a month rental a day notice is required. They moved out the same day they notified me and that was after the ck out time.*The phone number I was given to contact this party gives a busy signal each time it is called.*This party informed me they were staying through the winter months.*I was informed the day they were moving that they were leaving*They moved after the eleven o clock check out time*They stated they found a place they could have a dog.*No complaint was given about the establishment*They rented by the month which is $700.*The $was split into weekly payments of $WITH the understanding that they were staying through the winter months , thus not being charged sales tax per state law for taxes.*The daily rate for this room is $48...w tax $50.64 / by the week it is $35...w tax $per day or $per wk /a month breaks down to $per day with no tax by the month.*They paid $per wk for wks of the month and decided to move...breaking their contract for by the month rates.*They now owe for the two wks at the rate of $per wk or $516.96.*They paid $for the wks and $Security Deposit which equals $550.00.* They did not give days notice which is law for monthly rentals...they gave one day notice as they checked out after the eleven oclock check out time.* I am entitled to payment for the remainder of the month but am willing to compromise and refund the $difference between weekly and monthly rates
