We've had Cameron Home Improvement Group install several roofs for us over the years, both on our home (twice) and two rental properties We found them to be very professional and appreciated how they worked with us to design and replace only part of our roof after storm damage They went "over and above" several times - once to help prevent further damage while we waited for the repair after a storm Another time, they were quick to make things right when there was a minor issue with a gutter replacement Cameron listens carefully, gives good advice and strives to make you completely happy with your final resultThey know the products, do excellent work, are diligent in cleaning up and good at keeping in touch With major work on your property don't take a chance on saving a few pennies with less reliable outfits! ! The business states that I "just think" the openings in the soffits are not wide enough. It is important to note that I am not alone in that judgment. The insulation consultant who generated the specifications was very specific about the importance of removing the soffits — that is why the specification was written as it was — and he is the expert. Of all the specifications in the entire job, this is the most important one, and I discussed it throughly with the insulation consultant. This specification is the result of a careful and thoughtful process — it is not something I "just think." 3. The business refers to a "full refund." Although it is understandable why they use that term, the term is misleading and requires clarification. The following is taken directly from the insulation proposal provided by the business: "NOTE: PRICE REFLECTIVE OF WORK BEING DONE IN CONJUNCTION WITH ROOF REPLACEMENT." This means that the prices in the proposal are discounted prices in consideration of other work being done. It is these "discounted" prices that the business refers to as "full." That may make sense from the perspective of the business but their perspective is not the only one to consider.From my perspective the refund that makes sense is that one that pays for another contractor to finish the job. That refund is higher than the discounted price. The "full refund" referred to by the business is a "partial refund" to me. 4. The business refers to "the benefit of also having the work complete." The work is "complete" only when the job is finished and the decision by the business on a refund, without any discussion with me, is a definitive statement by the business that they have no intention of finishing the job. The best I can now do is salvage whatever I can from a job gone bad. All I can salvage is what the business has refunded. The bottom line is that I will have to incur additional expense to finish the job. That is hardly an acceptable resolution to this complaint nor any kind of "benefit" for me.

We contracted with Cameron Roofing to have them do: a complete tear off of our roof (two layers), put baffles in our attic crawl spaces and all new insulation, new roof eaves and venting, and all new gutters. We are THRILLED with the final product and the entire process. We can’t say enough about [redacted] the Cameron Roofing foreman who managed and did our roofing project. [redacted] was just a pure pleasure to work with; he did an outstanding job and led by example ? every step of the way. His team was like clockwork and they showed up precisely at 6:30 AM each day. There were a total of nine guys on [redacted] team. These young men were professional, extremely pleasant, personable and very hard working. It took 3 days to do our project only because they had to work around and deal with rain, lots of rain. If it had not rained, our project they estimated would have been 1.5 to 2 days maximum. I am meticulous about our home, inside and out. [redacted] and the Cameron team did a fantastic job cleaning up all the debris around the entire parameter of the house. The Cameron Roofing quote/pricing we felt was very reasonable. We had received three other quotes as well; Cameron’s was in the middle price wise. For us, it wasn’t about the final price as much as it was about feeling confident in and good about the roofing team. I would give [redacted] and the Cameron team who worked on our home an A+ and we would absolutely highly recommend them to our friends and family.
