We have gotten the report back from the adjustment center in Atlanta and their consensus is the same as ours. That it is a road hazard, which was not a defect in the tire, but we will install another tire on Mr. [redacted]'s car, as a customer
satisfaction, at no charge to him. Mr. [redacted] needs to bring the car in for this. I apologize for you inconvenience.

Big T Tire and Auto Service

This business was very rude and disrespectful. We had an issue with the work performed and when we asked the service Technician specifically Eddie and Jeremy they proceeded to tell me I was rude for refusing to allow them to not give me a time frame of when we could expect the work to be completed on our truck. This after they had the truck several times before and had not delivered the work at the promised time. Whenever you call to ask a questions the response was always "don't know". Never would check or anything of help. So when we became irritated and would no longer allow those answers they became very rude to me, the customer and point blank told me they cared less how much we spent (over 15K) on the truck or cared less if I called the owner for help, or what I did frankly. NEVER have I been so degraded for simply wanting to know what I could expect on money I had spent with their company. When I called the owner I explained to her - the truck finally got fixed however the issue regarding how I was treated was never addressed. I gave her two weeks to respond prior to me moving forward with filing a complaint. Was trying to allow her to make it right. She clearly doesn't care either.

After taking my van to them for a assessment / repair of two issues (i.e., power windows and air conditioning), both issues were misdiagnosed. Initially, the A/C system was recharged; this (service) was effective for less than 30 minutes after leaving their lot. Ultimately, it was determined the compressor / condenser were defective; they neglected to pressure-test the system.

Re: the power window(s), it was concluded the window switch, regulator and motor required replacement. The motor and switch were replaced only to fail within 30 days. It was requested that a warranty replacement for these parts be provided. Their service manager insisted they would ONLY provide the replace the requisite parts if and only if I located and provided the back-plate assembly since they "found" one motor retaining clip broken. At this point, I employed the services of an independent contractor (mechanic) to verify the diagnosis of Big T. The issue was isolated to a defective switch and motor (same switch and motor already replaced by Big T). After insisting the parts ONLY be replaced, Big T reluctantly provided the parts with NO warranty afterward. I requested the parts be tested to verify functionality. Even in the course of providing these parts, the driver's side door panel was removed, and the parts were tested. However, the door panel was NOT properly replaced (screws were missing) and the door could not be closed without the panel coming off the door.

The contractor installed the motor only to find another clip was broken (by the BIG T worker(s)). The very simple solution to stabilize the motor was provided by using two screws (purchased from a local hardware store). The regulator did NOT require replacement as originally stated by the Big T service manager; instead, only minor adjustments were required to align and test the window properly. This effort was performed by my technician within 90 minutes, including travel to and from a local hardware store (versus several hours spent on the lot of Big T).

The "specialty" of this business is tire sales and repairs. I strongly recommend they focus and restrict their services to their "specialty", since their mechanics do NOT have the certifications or other credentials to perform other tasks outside of tire sales / repairs.
