We voided the transaction through our POS system and called our processing company the following day to confirm its was refunded. Mercury merchant Processing confirmed it was refunded. We attempted to reach the customer via a number she provided to follow up with her but we never got a response. we also left a message to which we didn't get a response either.
Additionally we have counseled the employee and taken steps to insure these kind of mistakes don't happen again.
