The sales clerk referenced that the part was coming from "Washington", the store is located in what is considered the Washington DC Metro area. Based upon the generalized information provided the assumption would be Washington DC versus Washington state which was expressed at the time Frank told me to leave the store for pointing out that I was being taxed twice for the item, assuming.

The "Reserve Online service subjects customer to additional shipping cost;
in this particular case it would have been overall more cost-effective as the
customer to have the item shipped to my residence when factoring shipping and
what it cost to drive to the [redacted] Auto Parts store at [redacted]. In addition, taxed twice for the part in shipping cost and for the actual part

The state made regarding unknown shipping cost for requested parts vis the [redacted]’s
Reserve Online service seems to be invalid being that if the [redacted]’s website
provides shipping to customers that opt to have parts shipped direct to their
place residence.

During my visit there was another clerk that mentioned that if had waited for
the manger he then would be able to reduce the shipping cost; not sure what
that under the table negotiating process entailed but wasn’t there for a hand
out, only proper service for a part.
