I booked a cabin at Smokey Hills Resort for the dates of October 12-in early September and was required to put down a deposit of $On October 10th I received a call from the resort and they said they were going to close down the resort for the season to winterize there cabins due to some poor weatherThe resort and also [redacted] ***’s asked for my mailing address so they could return my deposit of $A couple weeks go by and I still never got my deposit backSo I called the resort and also [redacted] ***’s to see when they would be mailing the check outNever got any answers so I left messagesAnother week goes by and still no return call or check in the mailI call the resort on October 24th and finally talk to [redacted] ***’sHe says he’s been out of town and will mail the check out the next dayAnother week goes by and still my check hasn’t arrivedThis place is only an hour and a half away so I know it shouldn’t take that long to get a check in the mailI call the reso
