I am rejecting this response because:The claim that this cancellation policy was explained to me upon signing up for the membership is false. The person who logged this claim in the document sent by Pure Austin is not the person I spoke with when I signed the contract (as evident in the contract itself).Furthermore, the language in the contract stipulates that a payment following 15 days from the date of cancellation will be processed, but it does not specify that the amount will not be prorated, which is arbitrary and abusive. Even if this were clearly stated, it would be an abusive business practice, which is why I filed this complaint. The abusiveness of this practice has not been justified or even addressed by the business.I've already disputed this charge with my credit card company and received a refund of the requested amount, but I am surprised and disappointed that the business has so little respect for a customer of two years as to continue to argue by sending copies of the contract.
