CAMPANY ROOFING CO., INCPO BOX 207Oneida, NY 13421###-###-#### f#-###-####Revdex.comBryant Woods, SouthAmherst, NY Dear ***
I am very sorry for the delay in this response; I was out on vacationI am really
sorry for the problems *** is having but as I explained in the letter I wrote her, it is not a roofing issueIf it was, Iwould be more than happy to fix the issue! In 2006, when we installed the newshingle roof system, there was no mention of any ventilation problems by *** ***He did not ask us to check his insulation, only to install a complete new shingle roof system and that is exactly what wedid, just as the contract was written.*** called us the first time because she said she had a leak near her chimney (on the front of her house)I sent two guys out to repair itHer tenants showed us where the issue wasWe found that a piece of flashing was looseWe fixed itIt only took a few minutes, so we did not charge her for the repairThe next call we received from her was that the ceiling was cracking and water was coming inThis was the middle of January when it was snowing, blowing and freezingOSHA does not permit us to get on roofs in those conditions, as it is not safe! As soon as the weather was nice enough, I sent *** and his helper out to see what was going on.
When *** entered the premises, he saw that the ceiling was partially down and that the insulation was stuffed SOLID between the raftersThese issues were on the back of her house (where we never stepped foot when her tenants showed us the issue with the chimney.) At this point her tenants started screaming at *** calling him a liar and telling him he was on the back of the roof and should have known about these issuesThey were yelling so loud, that his helper, who was sitting out in the truck, could hear them I So yes, afterward my employee did respond with profanityHe went there to help them solve their problem but was instead verbally attacked.
We have tried to explain to *** that this means there was NO ventilation, which in turn causes moisture build up and leaksThis damage was not caused from any roof leakWhoever insulated their ceiling is responsible for the damage, not Campany RoofingHer insurance carrier even agrees that the issue is between the rafters and it was not properly ventilated!!! Again, I am sorry for her problems but it is an insulation problem, not a shingle problem.
Sincerely,
*** * ***

Campany roofing delivers what they promiseThey were competive in their price, I received excellent service, incredibly professional staff and always on time-I am not used to contractors behaiving this way! Best of all the work was perfect and they cleaned up every day-first class!

We have responded several times, no one answers the door.  The skylight is directly over a hot tub and has a rubber roof on a low pitched roof.  We have been there multiple times in the pouring rain, and looking in, there have never been any signs of any leaks.  The last time we were...

there was October 20, 2016, during a hard rain and it was not leaking.  The only think I can think, is when the hot tub is turned on, it creates condensation.  We would be happy to fix the problem if we could find one.

in the letter I wrote her, it is not a roofing issue. If it was, Iwould be more than happy to fix the issue! In 2006, when we installed the newshingle roof system, there was no mention of any ventilation problems by [redacted]. He did not ask us to check his insulation, only to install a complete new shingle roof system and that is exactly what wedid, just as the contract was written.[redacted] called us the first time because she said she had a leak near her chimney (on the front of her house). I sent two guys out to repair it. Her tenants showed us where the issue was. We found that a piece of flashing was loose. We fixed it. It only took a few minutes, so we did not charge her for the repair. The next call we received from her was that the ceiling was cracking and water was coming in. This was the middle of January when it was snowing, blowing and freezing. OSHA does not permit us to get on roofs in those conditions, as it is not safe! Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Regards,[redacted] If the business had called first or the day before I could arrange to be there and to show them what exactly was happening.  The leak occurs during heavy rains and creates a puddle on top of the hot tub cover.  I am fairly flexible with my time but I need to know if someone is coming to be there.   There is no condensation as it only occurs during rain
