On August 26, 2015, I severely injured my left foot when I took a nasty fall down an entire flight of stairs with a pound boxMy foot was immediately swollen to the size of a baseball, I almost blacked out, and I could not bear weight whatsoeverI had asked my husband to take me to the ER, and he talked me into waiting to go to Campbell Clinic Southaven the next morningI REGRET THAT! The next morning, August 27th, we went to the clinic where I received xraysThat's itThe doctor came in and told me there were no breaks, I had just sprained my ankle, and she wanted me to walk on it as soon as I couldI already had a walking boot at home so she suggested I wear it for two weeks, as wellSo here I am in excruciating pain, thinking it's just a sprained ankle, trying to walk on my foot at homeThe pain continued, as well as limping, for weeksweeks went by and I kept telling my husband something was wrongI sprained my ankles a lot as a child from dance classes and this was something way worseI set up an appointment with a foot and ankle specialistAt my first appointment, the doctor immediately took new xrays (ANKLE BROKEN), and did an ultrasound (which he said Campbell Clinic SHOULD have done and they did not) and I had several TORN TENDONS in my foot! I was in complete shock! The doctor said Campbell Clinic really dropped the ball, and I should have been non-weight bearing for sure, but probably should have had surgery to repair my tendonsHe put me back in the walking boot for about weeks, during which time I had an MRI, radial shockwave therapy, stem cell injections, and a nerve conduction studyFast forward to December 2015, and the doctor was getting ready to do surgery because I was still in painI had labwork done for surgery clearance and he ordered a second MRIMuch to both our surprise, on the second MRI my tendons "appeared healed" however, he thinks the original misdiagnosis, combined with me walking on my foot, combined with no surgery allowed my tendons to heal wrongHe said he could see that my ATF (Anterior Talofibular Ligament) was a little thickened - probably because it was torn, too, and healed wrongSo, surgery was postponedHe wanted me to try physical therapy with dry needling times a week for weeks to see if it helpedSo here I am February 21, with one week of physical therapy left, and I AM STILL IN PAINI cannot jump, I cannot run, I have decreased range of motion, I cannot wear heels, and I still have somewhat of a limp when I walkOnce I go back to my doctor for a checkup post physical therapy I am not sure if he will schedule surgery then, or have a different planI do know though that I am so ANGRY with Campbell Clinic for the misdiagnosisI truly believe that had more time been given that first day after the injury, and possibly surgery performed that maybe by now (months later) I could be on the mendThis has been absolutely miserable and my medical bills just keep stacking upI completely blame Campbell Clinic for all of thisI contacted the office manager to file a complaint and I was told someone would get back with meAfter not hearing anything for a week, I called back and left a messageLater, I did receive a voicemail from the doctor who saw me (I believe her name was Danielle M***) and all she said was something like "I heard you had some concerns and I would be happy to answer any questions you have." Seriously? Some concerns? Questions? You missed my broken foot and 2, 3, maybe torn tendons in my foot! Which have now caused me 6+ months of miseryI will NEVER go back to Campbell Clinic and I will deter anyone who mentions going thereNo one should have to go through what I have gone through! On a side note, I took my son (then months old) to the same location in July He had gotten his finger slammed in the storm door by accident and his fingernail was literally hanging off his finger, which was bleeding profuselyThe doctor (I believe DrW [redacted] was his name) looked me in the eyes and said "I can try to push his fingernail back under the skin, but it may cause him so much pain he could die." I AM DEAD SERIOUSI almost lost itI exited the room and just started crying while I listened to my baby screamingFinally, he said we needed to go to Lebonheur and he bandaged his hand up and we leftAt Lebonheur, they barely touched his fingernail and it came offIt wasn't even attached anymoreHe also had to get stitchesPoint of the story is, I should have learned my lesson that day not to go back thereWell, lesson learned nowStay away from this place

On August 26, 2015, I severely injured my left foot when I took a nasty fall down an entire flight of stairs with a 200 pound box. My foot was immediately swollen to the size of a baseball, I almost blacked out, and I could not bear weight whatsoever. I had asked my husband to take me to the ER, and he talked me into waiting to go to Campbell Clinic Southaven the next morning. I REGRET THAT! The next morning, August 27th, we went to the clinic where I received 3 xrays. That's it. The doctor came in and told me there were no breaks, I had just sprained my ankle, and she wanted me to walk on it as soon as I could. I already had a walking boot at home so she suggested I wear it for two weeks, as well. So here I am in excruciating pain, thinking it's just a sprained ankle, trying to walk on my foot at home. The pain continued, as well as limping, for weeks. 6 weeks went by and I kept telling my husband something was wrong. I sprained my ankles a lot as a child from dance classes and this was something way worse. I set up an appointment with a foot and ankle specialist. At my first appointment, the doctor immediately took new xrays (ANKLE BROKEN), and did an ultrasound (which he said Campbell Clinic SHOULD have done and they did not) and I had several TORN TENDONS in my foot! I was in complete shock! The doctor said Campbell Clinic really dropped the ball, and I should have been non-weight bearing for sure, but probably should have had surgery to repair my tendons. He put me back in the walking boot for about 9 weeks, during which time I had an MRI, radial shockwave therapy, 2 stem cell injections, and a nerve conduction study. Fast forward to December 2015, and the doctor was getting ready to do surgery because I was still in pain. I had labwork done for surgery clearance and he ordered a second MRI. Much to both our surprise, on the second MRI my tendons "appeared healed" however, he thinks the original misdiagnosis, combined with me walking on my foot, combined with no surgery allowed my tendons to heal wrong. He said he could see that my ATF (Anterior Talofibular Ligament) was a little thickened - probably because it was torn, too, and healed wrong. So, surgery was postponed. He wanted me to try physical therapy with dry needling 3 times a week for 3 weeks to see if it helped. So here I am February 21, 2016 with one week of physical therapy left, and I AM STILL IN PAIN. I cannot jump, I cannot run, I have decreased range of motion, I cannot wear heels, and I still have somewhat of a limp when I walk. Once I go back to my doctor for a checkup post physical therapy I am not sure if he will schedule surgery then, or have a different plan. I do know though that I am so ANGRY with Campbell Clinic for the misdiagnosis. I truly believe that had more time been given that first day after the injury, and possibly surgery performed that maybe by now (6 months later) I could be on the mend. This has been absolutely miserable and my medical bills just keep stacking up. I completely blame Campbell Clinic for all of this. I contacted the office manager to file a complaint and I was told someone would get back with me. After not hearing anything for a week, I called back and left a message. Later, I did receive a voicemail from the doctor who saw me (I believe her name was Danielle M[redacted]) and all she said was something like "I heard you had some concerns and I would be happy to answer any questions you have." Seriously? Some concerns? Questions? You missed my broken foot and 2, 3, maybe 4 torn tendons in my foot! Which have now caused me 6+ months of misery. I will NEVER go back to Campbell Clinic and I will deter anyone who mentions going there. No one should have to go through what I have gone through!

On a side note, I took my son (then 19 months old) to the same location in July 2014. He had gotten his finger slammed in the storm door by accident and his fingernail was literally hanging off his finger, which was bleeding profusely. The doctor (I believe Dr. W[redacted] was his name) looked me in the eyes and said "I can try to push his fingernail back under the skin, but it may cause him so much pain he could die." I AM DEAD SERIOUS. I almost lost it. I exited the room and just started crying while I listened to my baby screaming. Finally, he said we needed to go to Lebonheur and he bandaged his hand up and we left. At Lebonheur, they barely touched his fingernail and it came off.. It wasn't even attached anymore. He also had to get stitches. Point of the story is, I should have learned my lesson that day not to go back there. Well, lesson learned now. Stay away from this place.

I went to after hrs clinic sat for a problem with a severe sciatic nerve problem. I've had good care before with an knee operation in march but the service I received at walk in clinic was awful! I already knew the problem maybe I shouldn't have shared that and let them make diagnosis but a femal came in which I thought was a training dr since they have those a lot, I got very little info about my injury and the whole thing seemed like we were under some time limit, didn't share hardly any info about my X-ray and didn't address the loss of feeling I had in my foot that is often associated with this! Basically take these pills and see you later. I learned far more watching YouTube about this medical problem!
