The statements made by this business owner are false. Owner, Terry [redacted] told us at the time of the agreement, that he had had cancer 4-5 years ago. He made several promises to complete the job - but never showed up. When we called after each no-show, he gave various 'reasons' along with another unfulfilled promise to return. Some of the reasons was that he had shingles (the virus)- had to finish two driveways - one of his workers had quit -a lift was not available. On my last conversation with him he was abusive, and told me to take it to the judge. He added that he had 'appeared before ALL of them". His claim that we insisted upon a ladder instead of a lift , is beyond ridiculous. The roof is too steep to be done with a ladder.  To insist on such, would be opening ourselves to insurance issues. Finally, it a appears that not all the materials were purchased with the money he received. We maintain our claim that Campbell Contracting owes us $1,500.
