All I can say to any one of my Friends, be cautious when purchasing a new home and read all the print associated with warranty work. I would never recommend Campbell Homes to anyone and honestly would recommend that anyone purchasing a home to make sure you have read any and all documents no matter how large a file it is. I own some responsibility here. Campbell Homes was pretty good initially but after a year they give up on you. Our basement flooded after the dirt around a window well collapsed. The excavator came out at the request of Campbell Homes and fixed it. They also regraded the swalls which now pool water and which the Campbell response is to sat it is outside the warranty period and they have washed their hands of the situation and actually threatened us with a voided warranty if the water swalls/pooling problem created by their excavator causes damage then the 5 year warranty could be voided. HOW IS THAT FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! They would not even answer my question as to who their excavator was. I could go on but anyone reading this gets my point. Campbell rep stated that we were outside the warranty period. I concur to a point. Campbell excavator had to come back out and fix the damage that was initially caused by them. They then did work on the swales which is now the problem. However, Campbell says not their problem. There are other issues like poor communication from their assigned warranty rep. It took from March 2015 until June 2015 to get the warranty Rep to start addressing things we wanted addressed. Overall, poor performance for Campbell Homes. The Revdex.com has a limit on the number of characters that can be written so I have done my best to summarize my issues with Campbell homes. We love our home but do not like anything about the lack of customer service provided by Campbell homes. Their lack of support for issues that were caused by their sub-contractors, their inability to identify the excavator they used.
