For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. First, the Community Physicians Group at... Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin did not represent the correct patient name in their response. The correct patient name is [redacted] .Second, I cannot accept the premise that a business is unable to provide an itemization of certain cost codes. Someone in the organization had to do the accounting to come to the conclusion that certain procedures will be billed at a certain rate, due to the methods, personnel and materials employed.Believe me, I understand the desire and need of a business to simplify billing statements. It would be very costly and time consuming to supply each customer with and itemized detail. I operate a business myself and adhere to a policy that keeps our billing simple, but when a customer asks for an itemized bill, we can, and do provide them with as much detail that they want, down to the smallest nut and bolt! It is simply bad business not to be able to do so and worse business to tell the customer that you will not! Accountability is essential in business. We are simply asking for a breakdown ofeach cost code (methods, personnel and materials) mentioned in the original complaint, and the response by Froedert does not satisfy to requests of the original complaint. In conclusion, and for the record, we are not asking for every single cost code on our billing statement to be itemized, we are only asking for two cost codes to be itemized, not an unreasonable request.
