Review: I had 4 moving companies provide estimates for my move and I went with [redacted] because they were the lowest by $300. Not only did the move take a day longer than estimated, causing me incurred expenses, the cost was $800 more than stated. This even though I personally moved 3 pickup truck loads that were supposed to be included in their price. The only answer I got was the estimator sure blew this one. Their estimator walked the house and was shown EVERYTHING that was going to go and again, they ended up moving less than what he was told. The also caused considerable damage to the walls in my staircase requiring extensive drywall repair. The mover himself stated he had never caused so much damage in all his years of moving or seen an estimate so far off.So in the end, I paid $500 more than the highest estimates, moved 3 loads myself and had to rearrange other deliveries due to the extra day. Add that to the considerable damage to the walls and staircase, which I spent 3 hours repairing Fri/Sat so I could complete the walk thru with the new owners.Desired Settlement: (REFUND) This whole incident costed me upward of $1300 in additional cost and incurred expenses which I would like some consideration on. Estmiated at time of agreement was $1580, actual charge was $2,393.50. This is directly from their website:oQ: Can I get a free estimate on my household or business move? oA: Yes you can. [redacted], First we would like to apologize, I do not know how your email was missed but our reputation with the community and the Revdex.com is so important to us and missing this email was not acceptable and has been addressed to the appropriate employee. In short order in receiving **. [redacted] phone call into our office we 100% agreed with our customer that the job hours versus the estimated hours was unacceptable and sent **. [redacted] a $310.00 refund that he acknowledged at that time was agreeable to him. This check was mailed shortly after the move took place and we completely accepted responsibility for our mistake.
