Business said the roof is not crooked, it is no different than any other roofs they’ve done. Patterns are different on different facets for various reasons. They are not different on the same facet. All work is covered by their 15 year labor warranty. Regarding flashing, being to code, customer is referring to gutter flashing. There was no gutter flashing with the old roof, (and they never had a problem before) so business didn’t feel it was a necessity, and saw no need to install it and raise the cost of the job $ 200. A large percentage of houses do not have this flashing. Business also offered the customer two thousand dollars off for her grievances, which business feels is overly generous. Customer has sent business a letter stating they want $1500 for damages and wants the business to sign a document releasing them from the original contract (which would release them from owing any money). Business said he can not return to her house as customers are too difficult to work with. This is also the business’s last non legal response to this customer. Thank you,Greg Campbell

The above customer complaint was sent to the Revdex.com before any issues were brought to the company. The customer was having a large graduation party in a few days and we were trying to get finished before the weekend celebration. We had lost one day due to rain. We finally finished Friday evening at...

8:30 p.m. When I checked my email Saturday morning I had mail from the Revdex.com stating that someone had posted this  at 7:17 a.m. After reading, I immediately called the customer, listened to their concerns and told them I would be there within 2 hours. I called in my foreman and another roofer and went straight to the customer’s house.                                                                                                                                                                 When we arrived we met with the customers and made a list of the issues. The roofers spent the next couple hours addressing the problems. Some roof edge shingles were re-trimmed, ground was re-scanned and cleaned. There was a damaged gutter which will be replaced at Campbell Roofing’s expense. The spot in the driveway was not oil, but from a gas can that had been turned over in the back of a truck, ran over some shingles and caused a stain. Our trucks do not leak oil. We have offered to have the driveway professionally cleaned. I think both the customer and Campbell Roofing believe, if not for the stress of the impending Graduation Party things would have turned out better.                                                                         Campbell Roofing strives to do quality work at a fair price in a professional manner. Thank you, Greg

Mr. Campbell's response is not correct.   Mr. Campbell's crew left my house on Friday evening, stating the job was done.  But in fact it was not.  Mr. Campbell only responded on Saturday morning because I entered the review with the Revdex.com.  WE cleaned up the mess in the yard.  Not his crew.  Campbell roofing damaged my home.  The roof is still not finished.  The roof that was put on my house by Campbell roofing has three different patterns in it.  The pattern is not consistent.  The shingles are racked in a zipper fashion.  The installation instructions state they should be in a stair stepped fashion to prevent shingles raising.  He does not use starter shingles, therefore the roof is not straight and it voids Certainteed landmark pro wind warranty.  This is printed in Certainteed (shingle manufacture) warranty information.  The step flashing is damaged.  Flashing is not to Ohio code at gutter edges.  A home inspector and 2 different roofing Companies (one referred to me by Certainteed as a certified Certainteed installer) all have stated that the roof is of poor installation and is not installed to the manufacture guide for installation.  This is not a professional roof Co.   Mr. Campbell stood in my drive and told me that I need to consider the gene pool he has to pull from for help.  He has not addressed the issues of this roof as of 6/15/2017.  He has stated that he will not return to do any work.  His crew broke a light fixture and placed 4 nasty brown screws in it to hide it.  Oil was leaked on my drive way by one of his crew members car.  It was not gas as he states.  It has taken 4 application on concrete cleaner and the spot is still not gone.  He put white caulk in the mortar joint around my brick.  Mr. Campbell went to get paint samples to paint my brick house.  I never asked to have my brick painted.   Mr. Campbell has fixed nothing.
