Review: sold us a tank that was not properly set up for our RV and missing items

We received a new black water storeage tank

Fitting were not properly installed and missing one of the fittings for washing out the tank

Was not installed leaving us with a water line open and then argued with us about pipe for the wash not being on the tank but they had already thrown our old tank away

They would not make any adjustments only stated that we would need to being it in have them install it at 95 dollars a hour because we didn't know what we were doing installing itDesired Settlement: a full refund on our purchase or refund the difference of having another shop we trust fix all the problems they caused

Initial Business Response

[redacted] called on 9/6/2013 and ask about a black water tank that needed to be replace that was leaking. I ask her to bring the damage tank in so we could get the numbers off of the tank and order a new one. [redacted] brought the tank in that day and I ordered a new one for her. At the time [redacted] discussed the plumbing with our employee [redacted] for the tank and he told her that it would be better if she picked the tank up and put it up under trailer to mark holes. She decided for us to just measure the other tank and just put the fittings in and she would pick it up when she got back from her trip. She also said the person she sold her trailer to would install. [redacted] was not instructed to put in or replace the water pipe [redacted] previously put in. So he did not. [redacted] did not ask for the old tank back so we put it in the dumpster and it was taken to the dump. On 9/14/13 [redacted] came in Campers Corral and had a sour attitude when he walked in the door which put me in a sour attitude. He told me that he was very disappointed in us, and said that we threw away the water pipe that he installed himself. At the time I did argue that I did not see the pipe on the tank when it arrived to us. This was my mistake and if [redacted] had been here he would have corrected me on this. He did take offence to this and said that he would never do business with us again. I said Ok in a nice voice. He then turned around and started talking to me again and I received him better and told him I would replace the pipe he bought with RV water line and gave him 3 fittings free of charge. He was happy with this and left. [redacted] called on 9/16/13 and spoke to [redacted] and had a bad attitude again because he could not install the tank. [redacted] told him that Campers Corral would install the tank for him for $95hr and told him we would do the best we could. He wanted us to do this free of charge. This is out of line. We did what we were instructed to do. [redacted] made the decisions for the tank he needs to take this up with her not us. We will install the tank but he will be charge for the labor. Also we did not even know the person's name until today. I am sorry for his inconvenience but we are not responsible for [redacted]'s problem with the tank.We have receipt available for copy with [redacted] as purchaser.
