location was to put a piece of wood in front of the pipeFrom the pictures the customer sent us there were other holes in the pipe besides ours from installing the thermostat, it appears from his pictures that the pipe had been leaking for years inside the wallIt is unfortunate that this occurred for our customer, but the leaky pipe was not our fault, had the area been framed correctly this would not have happenedOr the original thermostat should have been located in a different place
