*** vehicle first came in over heating late July we diagnosed and repaired the water pump and new coolant for $900.00.At the end of August *** was driving down to LBI when vehicle started to over heat he ran the vehicle until engine stalled out and was towed to our shop.As per our
conversation I told *** we could either put engine in or try head gasket at that point *** told me he wife wanted to sue me but *** said no.We decided to do the head gasket being it was a lot cheaper then a engine job $included radiator and cooling fans that we diagnosed the cause cooling fans stopped working causing radiator to blow out and vehicle overheat.We showed *** the radiator that day August 28th engine job would have cost around $7,to $8,000.00.Once job was complete we test drove for days at the end of third day vehicle began to make internal sound.At that time *** asked me about an insurance claim I spoke to Jack B*** *** insurance partner he said that this was not due to a faulty water pump and no claim would be given that is why vehicle has been here so long.*** wanted me to put engine in for free that I can not due

I am rejecting this response because:My husband never brought the car to Camplain Auto in July. Also , the car never overheated. The work on the car for which my husband initially paid $900 was completed on August 19th. The car broke down on route 539 on August 24,2016  and was towed to Camplain Auto by [redacted] Jeff P[redacted] told my husband a friend of his who was an Audi mechanic would look at the car. On August 24th Mr.P[redacted] asked my husband for $4,000 so he could buy parts. The $900 and $4,000 is on my credit card . There is no disputing that. He told my husband the car would be repaired and would most likely need a head gasket. For months he kept telling my husband not to worry the car would be fixed. This went on for months!!! My husband suggested he contact his insurance company because he ruined the engine to his car. Due to his negligence Mr. P[redacted] had the car at his garage from August 24,2016 until January 26,2017. This is unacceptable and we are out $4900 and are forced to rent a car. Furthermore, Mr P[redacted] refused to give my husband a written estimate or anything the entire time in writing as to what he did to the car.
