Review: [redacted] from C&M Paving recapped my driveway with blacktop on April **, 2012. I called him the following day because he missed an area of about 5'x1' where he should have laid blacktop. He promised to come back that same week to finish it, but never showed up. As the summer of 2012 continued, I noticed areas in the driveway that cracked and spots approximately 12" in diameter that look as if they are starting to deteriorate/separate. I called him many times, but he didn’t reply. I finally got him to come over and view the driveway in June 2013 and he said he would take care of it within a couple of weeks, but again never showed up. He does not take my calls or replies to messages I have left him. I sent him a text message last week, but he still hasn't replied. My 2 year guarantee will expire on April 2014 and it's obvious to me he has no intention of responding. I would prefer a full refund $1300, so I can have someone else re-do the driveway, but if absolutely necessary, I would allow him to do the entire driveway again with a new two year guarantee in the event the same thing happens. I would appreciate any assistance you can give me.Desired Settlement: I would prefer a refund of $1300. Thank you.

Review: I contracted the services of C & M Paving, Inc. to furnish and install a new two-car driveway at my new home. The quality of the work and the installation are inferior and improperly installed. When I informed Mark of C & M to make the corrections, he agreed at first and ultimately told me he couldn't make the necessary corrections and offered to discount the cost of the work. After I paid him the agreed to price, he then took diesel fuel from his vehicle (all of this is on video) and spread the fuel all over the driveway destroying it to where the entire driveway will now need to be removed and reinstalled.Desired Settlement: As I explained to [redacted], I really don't want a discount for the inferior work. I asked him to replace the inferior work with new and I would pay him the agreed to price of $1,400 dollars. He refused and insisted I pay him something for the work performed and then he proceeded to destroy the driveway.

Review: I have gotten my driveway paved in May of 2012 by C & M Pavings. They have given me a written bill/receipt with 2 year warranty. Since then I have noticed my driveway was starting to crack and sink/uneven in some places of the driveway. I have been trying to reach CM Pavings for the last 4 months to redo the driveway. At that time [redacted] (the owner) told me that they will come this week or this day but never show up. After calling him this summer again and again his response was that "we will be at your house tomorrow for sure" or "we will be at your house next week week for sure" but that never happened. Recently, he hasn't been answering my phone calls as I have made frequent phone calls and left voicemails but never able to reach anyone since winter is almost here which will make my driveway crack and sink even more. They have given me a 2 year warranty for their work performed on my driveway which is set to expire on May 2014. I was hoping that someone from CM paving will come to my house this summer or this fall to fix the driveway problem but it looks unlikely that will happen. So in this case, I am filing a complaint against C&M Pavings. I would like them to refund my money or redo the driveway as soon as possible. The business should not ignore the customer by not answering phone calls and giving wrong information of they are not going to show up to perform the work.

At this time, I have not been contacted by C&M Paving regarding complaint ID [redacted]. I have called many times and [redacted] had not been answering my phone calls. He picked up the phone after I called from a different telephone number. He finally answered but said "this is not [redacted] speaking", even though it was him. I asked him when will you be coming to fix the driveway. His response was that "this is not [redacted], you have to talk to [redacted]". I knew it was him on the telephone line but he hung up on me. Never heard from him again after repeatedly leaving messages on his phone.
