I wish I had read his Revdex.com "F" rating and reviews first. BEWARE SCAM ARTIST. When he finally got here (very late) he was personable enough and purportedly diagnosed my ice maker as needing a solenoid. I also asked him to diagnose a washing machine noise, too, which he couldn't and told me to send him a video when I heard the noise, (which I later did). After telling me my ice maker would cost $375 to fix, he said he'd call me when the part was in. I paid for his diagnostic visit in cash. He's now ignoring my texts and calls. Then I read his awful reviews and realized that I, too, was scammed. He has no intention of coming back - just make a quick buck for a visit. I researched and found he used to be a chimney sweep - I guess he graduated himself to appliance technician. What a shame Home Depot refers him - they don't vet appliance repair vendors.

I hired Jim P, owner of Campro Appliance , to install door on my home. I paid $500 for door and install. Not complete, no contact or refund.
I am submitting this complaint to protect other consumers. If you are to look at the company profile for Campro Appliance & Construction of Rochester NH on the Revdex.com site, or, on Campro's Facebook profile, you will find others with a similar circumstance to mine. Moreover, the same individual advertises on NH Craigslist "services-skilled trade" (i.e. 603 Basements). He posts multiple times in a short period of time. One ad reads "BEST LOCAL HOME REMODELING-
HIGHEST QUALITY GUARANTEED!

(FREE SAME DAY ESTIMATES & 10% OFF FIRST-TIME
DISCOUNT ). All the reviews of this company suggest a similar circumstance to mine, the owner
takes money for services not provided or does not complete work as promised. The following is the
timeline from my experience with the owner of Campro: *** P. At the beginning of December
2019 I responded to an advertisement on Craigslist under "services - skilled trade" which advertised
home improvement services. I spoke to a gentleman named "***" regarding installing an entry door on
the side of my home, estimate of price to install a chimney liner, and some possible mold removal in
my attic. "***" made the initial visit to my residence to perform an in-home estimate on or about
December 2nd, 2019. Upon arrival at my home (***) he handed me a business card that
read: Campro Appliance & Construction: All aspects of remodeling! *** P - Owner Rochester
NH XXXXX Gilford NH XXXXX ***@mail.comOn Tuesday December 3, 2019 ***
had agreed to meet me at my residence located at *** (this
community is also known as Pinardville) via phone text message. On Wednesday December 4, 2019
"***" arrived at my home with another gentleman at approximately 11:15am to install the door on my
home. I handed him $500 as the agreed upon price to purchase the door from a local Home Depot
and the labor to install it. I then departed my home at approximately 11:50am to return to work while the door was supposedly being installed. Upon returning home from work at approximately 4:30PM, the door was in place, however, it would not shut completely or lock, there were gaps around the door that were filled in with used insulation. Moreover, there was drywall debris left all over the entrance to my home which was subsequently tracked through my home by my children when they returned home from school. I called *** immediately to inquire as to the condition of my home. *** stated he ran into some difficulty with the installation and would return on Friday December 6, 2019 to complete the installation of my door. On Friday December 6, 2019 I sent a text message at 7:47am to *** to inquire what time he would be arriving at my home. I received a text message back from *** at 9:17am explaining he had a doctors appointment to attend with his daughter, but he would arrive at around noon time; I replied that he should take his time and that I would see him soon. At 12:42pm I sent another text message to *** stating I had to leave my home to return to work and that my wife Kristina would still be at the home. I received a text back from *** at 2:20pm stating "Sorry my day got messed up, I'll have to reschedule. I'll call you later today". I did not receive any further contact via phone call or text later in the day of December 6, 2019. As of Tuesday December 10, 2019 no contact

Desired Outcome

Refund of $300 for labor portion of door installation that was not complete

Hi, I would like to fully reimburse my customer to there satisfaction.

Scheduled 7/13/19 online for appliance repair in Hampton area. He called quickly, arrived when he said he would. Took over an hour to remove a control panel from Bosch dishwasher ( zapped by lightening). He called supply company as he wasn't sure which model panel to order. Took the part with him. Explained his service fee would be applied to the cost of the repair/ part. Wrote him a check, which he took photo of, and texted to me as receipt. No business card, no written bill, no last name provided. Check for Campro was cashed. He texted 4 days later and said the part was on backorder and would be another week. Doesn't respond to calls or texts asking about status, or reimbursement if he is unable to obtain part. Too late noticed poor reviews of Campro in Rochester area. Keeps payment for service not provided.

Came to my house. Took a small part, did not fix a thing. Took my $300 check back in April and has never come back and does not respond to my calls. I want my $300 check back because he did not fix a thing. It was a scam in my opinion

Owner came out to fix the icemaker in my fridge. He put a gasket in thinking there was air leak. Charged $149.00 for 10 minutes of service. He told us to let him know if the issue didn't resolve. Ice maker is still not working. Owner said he would be back several times all no shows. I sent a text as this was how we were communicating asking if I should find someone else. That was 4 weeks ago. No response.

I was charged 299.00 for a motor that I did not require
And he took it back with him and I have not been refunded
Check was made to Campro appliance around 03/21/2019 for motor for an Electrolux dryer model EFMG517SIW0 that I did not need
Owner took back the motor and never refunded me for this motor

Desired Outcome

I would like my refund

Hi, I would like to fully reimburse my customer to there satisfaction.

I contacted Campro Appliance Repair to service my refrigerator. The owner/operator has terrible communication, does not respond to calls or text messages, has not fixed / repaired my refrigerator, but has charged my credit card $500 for parts and service that I have not received. I spoke to them on the evening of March 13, 2019 and was told that my account would immediately be credited the $250 of service that was "pre-charged." My bank has no record of this refund and the owner/operator has not contacted me and does not respond to calls or text message. I feel that I have been cheated out this money as he charged me for a service that has not happened.
Product_Or_Service: Refrigerator Repair

Desired Outcome

Refund I was told, upon initial discussions, that the parts that were ordered can be returned. I want the owner to return the parts and to refund the $500 I was charged as the parts were not given to me nor was the service performed or any money refunded as I was told on 3/13/19 would happen.
