Yearly Eyes Exam
I have very Bad Experiences this year, 3 months ago I have my eye test untill now I don't get my glass and no one even call same thinks happens to my wife all, I never go back there anymore

Review: I am a long time (10+ year) customer of Campus Eye Group in Hamilton NJ. The last 2 pairs of glasses I purchased from them, though, had broken after a number of years of wear (not from any mishandling damage). When my glasses broke in June, my only spare pair of glasses were 10 years old and the prescription (especially for near vision) was was out of date. I quickly scheduled an appointment and had an eye exam on June 13, 2013. I ordered AND PAID for glasses from their on-site optician's department (my cheque was to the Campus Eye Group, not a separate entity). I explained that the spare pair of glasses was unacceptable for use, and it was really important to get the new glasses as soon as possible. The optician wrote RUSH on the order and said I should have the glasses in about a week. 2 weeks went by and I didn't hear from them so I stopped by. The optician (a different one than the one who was there when I ordered the glasses) took about 1/2 hour wandering around trying to find the glasses. I was asked to spell my name 3 times (they didn't seem to be able to find my order). Eventually I was told that the glasses hadn't come in yet. I told them I needed them right away and the optician said he'd call as soon as they came in. Another week went by. I stopped by again (yesterday 7/3/13). There was another different optician, who again wandered around (this time for about 10 minutes) and asked me to spell my name twice. Eventually he told me the glasses had come in but one lens was broken and they couldn't issue me a broken pair of glasses. I asked if the new lens was ordered and the answer was vague. I again explained the urgency but was only told that he didn't know when the glasses would be in, but that he had my name and number on a sticky tag that he'd put on his desk and would call me when the glasses came in. This is completely unacceptable.Desired Settlement: I want the glasses delivered right away. If they cannot provide the glasses I ordered, in perfect condition, by July 12, then I want an immediate full refund of my purchase price, plus a refund of the eye exam price as compensation for the headaches that I am suffering from having to wait 1 month for glasses.

I notice that you have 2 other unresolved complaints about this business in your registry. If I do not receive the glasses within 1 month from the order date, then I would also like to file a complaint with the state licensing board for this optical group. This is a poor service and they should be subject to reprimand from the state, because people's health is involved.

SENT TO MY PHARMACY [redacted] RX NEEDED PRIOR AUTHORIZATION, CALLED CAMPUS EYE GRP ON 2/13/15, 3/16/15, 3/18/15,( LAST STATED PRE-AUTH WAS SENT TO INSUR. 3/18/15, CALLED 3/25/15 INSUR. [redacted] THEY HAVE NEVER REC'D ANY PRIOR AUTH FROM CAMPUS EYE GRP. CALLED 3/25/15 CAMPUS EYE GRP/ OFFICE/MANAGE;NANCY F. FOR HER TO LOOK INTO THIS. CALLED 4/6/15 LEFT VOICE MAIL MESSAGE FOR OFFICE/MANAGER;NANCY F.. TO DATE WED. 4/8/2015 I HAVE NOT REC'D ANY CALL BACKS, NOR DO IS HAVE THE RX FOR MY RESTASIS EYE DROPS. I USE THE EYR DROPS, DUE TO LASIX EYE SURGERY IN AUG. OF 2006 FOR CHRONIC DRY EYES. I AM PENDING AN SURGICAL CONSULTANT WITH DR. IAN C[redacted], MD FOR MY CATARACT SURGERY, BUT CAN'T HAVE SURGERY UNTIL I AM BACK ON THE EYE DROPS FOR @ LEAST 3 MONTHS. I HAVE TRIED OVER THE COUNTER EYE DROPS, BUT THOSES DO NOT HELP THE PROBLEM. MY VISION HAS WORSEN, I WORK ON COMPUTERS ALL DAY, MY VISION IS DETERIRATING. PLEASE, ANY ASSISTANCE WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. Regarding the case of [redacted] I would like to inform you that the patient was contacted directly and the matter has been resolved to her satisfaction. We have approved her prescription for Restasis until April, 2016.
