The staff of this complex saw fit to remove my belongings and throw them in the dumpster resulting in the loss of many items and emotional turmoil Hello, My name is [redacted] and I am filing a formal complaint against Campus Lodge Apartments of TampaThe staff of this complex saw fit to remove my belongings from the apartment leased to [redacted] (***) and throw them in the dumpster due to their "Campus Lodge Turnover Addendum"These actions resulted in damages to the personal items that I was able to recover from the dumpster along with the loss of many thingsI would like to provide a detailed timeline and explanation of the events that occurred August 6-in the following paragraphs I was engaging in a lease takeover for my apartment (***), due to the failure of the resident whose lease I was intended to takeover to follow procedure I wasn't able to receive my keys on Saturday August [redacted] spoke with office staff when they entered her residence on the 6th

Violate lease terms and forced me to move out of an apartment where I had paid rent and had no other violations with a hour notice When: late July occurring over several days I subleased a room in apartment starting May I began to have problems with roommates (and their friends)They threatened me and my emotional service animal and this culminated with me calling the police/filing a report after a roommate's boyfriend physically threatened meI made a written complaint to management about roommates and a roommate mediation occurredOne of my ex-roommates is an employee of the complex and her best friend and therefore, management did not believe anything I saidThey said one option was for me to transfer apartmentsI never signed a lease for the new apartmentIn early August I got a call with them screaming at me at 8:pm saying that I needed to move out of that apartment by am the following dayI still had a valid lease with no unpaid rent or violations

Fraudulent fees charged
I paid my son's December rent a day early on 11/30/ On December 6th, I received an email stating that the rent was past due and that I owed more than $over what the rent is I called them and they couldn't find my check and said I would need to prove it had been paid Sent them a screenshot from Bank of America that showed the payment had been delivered to them on 11/30/ Later, they found the check, but said it didn't count for his full rent because there was $owed for a utility overage and therefore they didn't count the rent check as being paid in full and didn't deposit it I should mention that the money has already been taken from my account because it was drawn through an online account While I was on the phone with the individual from Campus Lodge, I ordered the check for $and to.d her they would have it on 12/11/ I also did a search of my email, to include the spam folder, and the last email prior to this issue that they

Horrible first day moving in to the apartment Dead roaches everywhereIn the room and in the bathroom The demo unit was fine and dandy before the rental agreement was signed Paid first month of rent but could not move in until the 16th indicating that they need weeks to clean the apartment What do you get? One dirty apartment on day oneCleaners and carpet steamer have to be called in immediately Maintenance has to come back again to wax the floor and paint the wall
DON'T rent it You have lots of choices for the price you pay

This apartment went under new management recently and have been unorganized sinceA friend and I were trying to sign a 2xlease here we both started the application however my friend tried to send in his license (by their request) and the manager or leasing associate ended up losing it not once but twiceThen we are waiting to hear back about signing the application and instead we get an email and call saying they are out of 2xapartment so now we do not have an apartment due to the fact that the people working in the office lost my friends ID pushing our application process backI then call the front office to figure out what's going on and all the guy could tell me is we do a first come first serve, as if it is our fault that they lost the applicationTheir staff is not educated on how to resolve problems This apartment needs to get a brand new staff in the office that can actually stay organized and solve problems

Campus Lodge is not helping with my current unsafe living conditions
I am filing a complaint for this company because they are not doing anything to help me get out of my unsafe living situationSince November I have had issues with a roommateHe has stolen from us and threw out perfectly good food, containers; he also has always been condescending to the other roommates, and continues to play mind games

My AC unit does not work properly, I have been addressing this issue with Campus Lodge since I moved into this specific apartment in February
I have put in multiple service requests for my AC to get fixed, saying that my room is hot/hotter than the two rooms before mineThe maintenance team would continue to tell me that every room will get hotter by degrees and that this is normalThis is not because that means if I set the air at (energy efficient) my room will be The last time I put in a service request, I requested that they check the duct work for leaks, breaks, or needs of new instillation, instead of checking the duct work, they proceeded to ignore my request, and tell me my room's temperature was degrees, and that my ac was fine- they even took a photo of the temperature reading That day I went home to find the same device they used in my room to measure the supposed "70" degreesI took a video of me using the same device, my room read at or above

I cannot get anyone to respond to my questions regarding late fees and in the meantime the fees continue to accrue
I am the guarantor on a lease for an apartment where my daughter resided She made the appropriate arrangements and paid the appropriate fees to be able to move out and sublet her unit I received a bill not only for rental on the apartment but also for pet rent for my daughter's dog who also no longer resides in the unit I have tried for five days to get someone to explain the charges to me to determine if they are actually due No one has responded to my numerous and multiple inquiries and in the meantime the late charges continue to accrue at $per day

My daughter is a resident of Campus Lodge, I am the Guarantor My daughter recently renewed her lease which included sending proof of insurance as a part of the agreement This is an additional requirement that started last year She forwarded her proof of insurance (required by Jul) on July She was not contacted until Aug to advise that Campus Lodge needed to be added to the insurance notification page I have attempted to contact the Campus Lodge personnel involved (Maya P.) and was advised she will only communicate via email I contacted her via email, as well as my daughter, her responses are stagnant or come at p.mat night Meanwhile, for every day this issue is unresolved we are assessed additional late charges
I have emailed the corporate office (Aug) The site office in Tampa (Aug, Au) and the property manager for the Tampa office (Aug)
