Dear Ms***,Per our conversations starting February 9, At that time, we sent our maintenance staff out to check the furnace filter and check appliances for anything pulling an excessive amount of energyThey found no issues in the apartment at that timeDuring the billing period of
December 14, 2016-January 18, 2017, there were days below freezing and due to an ice storm and the city offices being closed they could not read the meters therefore there was an additional days in this billing periodThis was no fault to Campus LodgeAs we investigated the higher prices we found the City to be using at tier system to charge(Found Below) Energy Charge Usage Rate non-summer first kWh cents per kWh next kWh cents per kWh all remaining kWh cents per kWh After looking over the situation again and we that the bill was due to electric usage during a very cold period.
