DOn'T GO, WORST EXPERIENCE EVER
Worst ever experience. I wish there is a "0" star I can enter.

Ordered Laundry Set for my rental property on Jan 02 and was promised a delivery date of Jan 20, the delivery was pushed until the end of Feb, which is understandable due to a global supply chain issue.

I requested 40 min notice before making the delivery so that I can drive to my rental property. 4 deliveries so far, NEVER HAPPENED. If 40 min notice is not guaranteed, DON'T PROMISE.

Online delivery tracking is not trustable.

Looks like they enjoyed not making deliveries, I even can hear the delivery driver was laughing when I say I cannot be there if they give me only 10 min notice.

I was given a kind of reimbursement for not making deliveries, but I really don't want it, I want the laundry set delivered.

DON'T call the salesperson you had to deal with because they will not take the phone call or call you back at the time when you need them. You have to be at the ship to talk to them face to face.

It is not done yet, will have to reschedule another delivery but they are trying to charge me for the "second" delivery.

I am pretty sure this is my last time dealing with this company, I wish I had gone to other sellers at the very beginning.

AVOID at all costs.
AVOID. Cannot run away from CAS fast enough.

We bought a refrigerator and dishwasher from CAS. We waited 12 days for delivery of our appliances. The day they were supposed to arrive, these grifters added an additional $650 dollars to our bill as an additional delivery fee. We cancelled our order after hours on the phone.

Buyer truly be wary.

We bought a fridge from Canadian Appliance Source and it was delivered on January While the delivery people were here, we noticed the top left door wasn't closing correctlyAfter the delivery people left we noticed damaged places on this fridgeI called the store and they asked for picture which I sent within hourI received a email from customer service the next morning and they wanted to send a [redacted] repair manI replied that I wanted a new fridge and told them the fridge was not usable because the door won't close It is now February and we still haven't been told whether they will even replace the fridge yetWe have been without a fridge for full week and are no closer to resolving this issueThe price was good, the customer service is non existent

[redacted] The online reviews for CAS that we checked out beforehand were Hit-and-Miss but we decided to chance it anyway because their website said they had the appliance we wanted at the best price in town [redacted] We bought a fridge online Dec 16th with delivery scheduled for Dec 23rd, the only option available to us before ChristmasNo where on the website did it say that the fridge was back-ordered, out of stock or would require additional time for deliveryNevertheless, we got a call Dec 21st that the fridge would be back-ordered until Monday, Jan 11thAt that time, we were told we would get a call on or before that date to schedule deliveryWe received no call on Jan 11th by 4:45pm so we called themWe were told we would receive a call by the end of the week to schedule delivery if we hadn't already received the applianceThursday, Dec 14th, 4:45pm we had heard nothing again so called in to inquireWe were told that the manufacturer had only just received the itemWhen we asked for clarification because we didn't understand why the manufacturer wasn't the one "making" the appliance and why would the manufacturer just be getting it if it was made by them, we were answered with derisionThe agent refused to give us a delivery date upon which we could dependShe refused to even call us next week with an update, saying that she couldn't do that, she could only call when the fridge was ready for deliveryShe argued with us that we chose a delivery date that was never possible to begin with so it wasn't her faultWe said we didn't choose, it was the only option available and that we understand this situation is not HER fault, personally, but she is the one answering the phone so she's the one who has to explainI have to say that the agent answering the inquiry about Ottawa deliveries was not professional in how she spoke with us at allShe got very agitated when we "didn't understand" what she was saying because it wasn't making any logical sense (it wasn't clear if she just didn't understand the process herself or just had no patience) and even said "since we're just talking in circles, I'm going to hang up now"I would have assumed a company would like to ensure their customers understand what you're saying, no matter how long it takes you, the expert??, to explain and, at least, leave the conversation feeling like their concerns have been heard if they cannot be met instead of condescendedUnfortunately, we were not valued this wayIn fact, we were further insulted because when we requested a refund we were laughed atWe were further scoffed at when we brought up contacting [redacted] and our credit card company with a dispute over the purchaseShe basically wished us luckAt this point, she said she wanted to hang up because we were talking in circles so I asked to speak with a managerOf course, no manager was present at that time so I left a message stating our displeasure and requesting a response as soon as possibleLast evening, we started the [redacted] dispute processToday, just after noon, we received a phone call from Andre from a area code on behalf of CASHe said that they would not have this particular fridge in stock or in Ottawa (I can't recall at this point) until Feb 9th and still could not guarantee a delivery dateHe suggested that he could give us a slightly different fridge at his discount instead but we would be expected to pay the extra $difference in purchase priceA better fridge, that was in stock and ready to deliver but we'd have to pay more for it after waiting nearly a month for what we already ordered at a cheaper price?? That didn't make a lot of sense to usSo we requested a full and immediate refundThis request was granted and we were told it would take up to hours to processThankfully, we have already this afternoon received notification from [redacted] that our purchase price has been refunded and the dispute closedIn conclusion, we will NEVER attempt to purchase from this company again and will STRONGLY discourage everyone I meet from doing so as well

Salesman gave me downdrafts to choose from After choosing one of them, when I received it, it was for a cooktop and not a range After dealing with customer service, they are charging me 25% to return the item Salesperson knew that it I needed it for a range and not a cooktop Never will buy anything or ever recommend this store to anyone! Totally Disappointed [redacted]

I had an apartment sized washer delivered on June My building superintendent said tenants weren't allowed to have them, so I had to send it backIt never even made it off the truckI called the store within the hour & they said they would put in a cancellation orderNothing had been done by June so I called the store again, speaking to someone differentThey told me to email the main office & ask for a cancellation request, which I filled out & emailed back that same dayI got an email saying it was cancelled the next dayI waited a few more days before checking my credit card & the charges had not been reversed yetI emailed the company again & this time they said it was cancelled on June I waited another week, still nothingCalled my credit card company today, & they have no record of any cancellation from this companyI was advised to file a dispute to get the charges removed

I purchased a [redacted] professional series microwave convection oven from Canadian Appliance Source on July 19th 2015. We had it delivered and installed at an additional cost of $120. 00. I tried the microwave which worked. Then I tried the convection. After an attempt at cooking frozen fish for over an hour I realized it was not working properly. The fish was not even close to being done. I called CAS and was told there was nothing that could do. I must call [redacted] Canada who manufacture the appliance. From the beginning of August until late November I waited for repairs. In Sept they sent a repair company to fix it. We had to uninstall the unit for them to work on it. They couldn't figure out what was wrong but said they would order a couple of parts. Many phone calls to [redacted] occured during this time. We were told the parts were on backorder til Dec 8th. Finally in late November I got [redacted] to authoruze a return. I returned the unit to the Ottawa store on November 26th. I opted for refund as I was more than Fed up with run around I had recieved. It is now Dec 236th and I am still waiting for the refund to show up on my credit card. For 5 months I had the microwave convection oven sitting on my dining room floor. All I got from Canadian Appliance Source was "there is nothing we can do " "you must deal with the manufacturer" Never again will I deal with this company. Their customer service is despicable.

[redacted] The online reviews for CAS that we checked out beforehand were Hit-and-Miss but we decided to chance it anyway because their website said they had the appliance we wanted at the best price in town. [redacted] We bought a fridge online Dec 16th with delivery scheduled for Dec 23rd, the only option available to us before Christmas. No where on the website did it say that the fridge was back-ordered, out of stock or would require additional time for delivery. Nevertheless, we got a call Dec 21st that the fridge would be back-ordered until Monday, Jan 11th. At that time, we were told we would get a call on or before that date to schedule delivery. We received no call on Jan 11th by 4:45pm so we called them. We were told we would receive a call by the end of the week to schedule delivery if we hadn't already received the appliance. Thursday, Dec 14th, 4:45pm we had heard nothing again so called in to inquire. We were told that the manufacturer had only just received the item. When we asked for clarification because we didn't understand why the manufacturer wasn't the one "making" the appliance and why would the manufacturer just be getting it if it was made by them, we were answered with derision. The agent refused to give us a delivery date upon which we could depend. She refused to even call us next week with an update, saying that she couldn't do that, she could only call when the fridge was ready for delivery. She argued with us that we chose a delivery date that was never possible to begin with so it wasn't her fault. We said we didn't choose, it was the only option available and that we understand this situation is not HER fault, personally, but she is the one answering the phone so she's the one who has to explain. I have to say that the agent answering the inquiry about Ottawa deliveries was not professional in how she spoke with us at all. She got very agitated when we "didn't understand" what she was saying because it wasn't making any logical sense (it wasn't clear if she just didn't understand the process herself or just had no patience) and even said "since we're just talking in circles, I'm going to hang up now". I would have assumed a company would like to ensure their customers understand what you're saying, no matter how long it takes you, the expert??, to explain and, at least, leave the conversation feeling like their concerns have been heard if they cannot be met instead of condescended. Unfortunately, we were not valued this way. In fact, we were further insulted because when we requested a refund we were laughed at. We were further scoffed at when we brought up contacting [redacted] and our credit card company with a dispute over the purchase. She basically wished us luck. At this point, she said she wanted to hang up because we were talking in circles so I asked to speak with a manager. Of course, no manager was present at that time so I left a message stating our displeasure and requesting a response as soon as possible. Last evening, we started the [redacted] dispute process. Today, just after noon, we received a phone call from Andre from a 416 area code on behalf of CAS. He said that they would not have this particular fridge in stock or in Ottawa (I can't recall at this point) until Feb 9th and still could not guarantee a delivery date. He suggested that he could give us a slightly different fridge at his discount instead but we would be expected to pay the extra $100 difference in purchase price. A better fridge, that was in stock and ready to deliver but we'd have to pay more for it after waiting nearly a month for what we already ordered at a cheaper price?? That didn't make a lot of sense to us. So we requested a full and immediate refund. This request was granted and we were told it would take up to 48 hours to process. Thankfully, we have already this afternoon received notification from [redacted] that our purchase price has been refunded and the dispute closed. In conclusion, we will NEVER attempt to purchase from this company again and will STRONGLY discourage everyone I meet from doing so as well.

Bought my washer & dryer from their Warehouse location in Etobicoke. I had a quote from another store but didn't buy it from them due to not having them in stock plus their customer service was very bad. So I decided to try Canadian appliance store in Etobicoke. There I met a salesperson named Imran A., he was very friendly, knowledgeable and very pleasant to talk to. Not only they had better pricing, their delivery service and salesperson were excellent.
I am glad that I went to them and I would definitely recommend dealing with Imran A.
Thank you, Imran.

I purchased a kitchen from Canadian Appliance Source for my client (I am a home renovations designer/contractor). After my purchase, prior to my chosen delivery date, I was informed that a product I had purchased had been discontinued. The product offered as it's replacement was smaller, and had fewer settings. A discount was not offered. When I asked to receive the same 40% discount on the offered product as I had on the originally purchased product, the order was cancelled by the store associate. I have since cancelled my entire purchase and will be buying appliances for my clients elsewhere.

The store sold me a product that they didn't have in stock and was not willing to replace it. This is unacceptable. I am writing here to WARN CONSUMERS that if you purchase a product from Canadian Appliance Source, you are not guaranteed to receive that product and it will be replaced by something of lesser value than what you ordered.

The store associate was rude. I will absolutely NOT be

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Bought all my kitchen appliances three years ago including an [redacted] induction range for $3,250.00 which didn't work properly. The repairman that came said that the fans weren't working and that the range had been compromised and NOT to accept a repair job. The range would not last long. While I was cooking Christmas dinner for 18 people including friends from Germany and family from Alberta it broke. What a nightmare!! It's going to cost $2,000.00 to fix. [redacted] when it first broke would not give me a new range and Canadian Appliance Source would not even take my calls. They would not make a call to [redacted] to have them send me a new range. They don't stand behind their products at all. Chris B.

Terrible delivery system!

We bought a fridge from Canadian Appliance Source and it was delivered on January 28 2016. While the delivery people were here, we noticed the top left door wasn't closing correctly. After the delivery people left we noticed damaged 4 places on this fridge. I called the store and they asked for picture which I sent within 1 hour. I received a email from customer service the next morning and they wanted to send a [redacted] repair man. I replied that I wanted a new fridge and told them the fridge was not usable because the door won't close.
It is now February 4 and we still haven't been told whether they will even replace the fridge yet. We have been without a fridge for 1 full week and are no closer to resolving this issue. The price was good, the customer service is non existent.

I had purchased new kitchen appliances (over $10k) for a kitchen reno. The appliancees were delivered 7/17/2015

One of my appliances had a defect and the process to retun it was an absolute nightmare. I started the return process on 7/28/2015. CAS stated they needed approval from the manufacturer to grant the return. After 3 weeks of follow up calls to CAS I decided to call the manufacturer directly. Within 24 hours of my call the manufacturer had a tech out to diagnose the problem and confirm the manufacturing defect. It then took another week for CAS and the manufacturer to SEND A FAX to each other so both parties had the correct paperwork to approve the return ( I had to provide the manufacturer the CAS fax number during one of my daily follow up calls). Once that was cleared up, CAS called me and said I could exchange my old unit for the new unit at the local store on 8/31/2015. When I arrived on 8/31/2015, the new unit was not in the store. When I asked where the unit was the salesperson and the customer service rep had no idea why the unit wasn't shipped for delivery on 8/31/2015. I was then told the unit would not be delivered until 9/8/2015. When I called the customer service asking for a manner to expedite the process (for example, [redacted] the item) I was told 'they didn't do that' and that I would have to wait.

Disappointment is too week a word to describe my experience. In my opinion, the level of process complexity, incomptence and lack of customer care displayed by CAS is truly astounding. My having to spend this all this extra effort for the better part of 5 weeks over something as simple as a return was a total waste of time.

Salesman gave me 4 downdrafts to choose from. After choosing one of them, when I received it, it was for a cooktop and not a range. After dealing with customer service, they are charging me 25% to return the item. Salesperson knew that it I needed it for a range and not a cooktop. Never will buy anything or ever recommend this store to anyone! Totally Disappointed . [redacted]
