As the Grant Co has already stated a check was issued to the contractor of Mr ***'s choice to fix the damage

" I appreciate that Grant Cois acknowledging they damaged my property. I spent over $dollars putting in my new driveway in March 2016. In October I hired a contractor to redo my roof. Unfortunately that contractor used a dumpster from Grant Co. My contractor and I were very disappointed to see the amount of damage that was done to my new driveway *** *** agreed that the damage done to my driveway was the fault of Grant Co and instructed me to get a quote on how much it would be to fix the damaged driveway From there, I requested a quote to understand how much damage was done to my driveway and the quote was $to repair the drivewayHe then made out a check to the paving company. I asked him to make out the check to me and he refused, saying that it is not my intention to repair the damage.Whether it is my intention or not to repair the damage his company did to my property is MY decision If someone rear-ends your car and damages the bumper, you don't necessarily need to fix the bumper. But you should be paid the amount of money for the damage made to your property."

The James G. Grant Co. acknowledges a small amount of damage to the driveway. Grant Co also went above and beyond to rectify the situation, the customer retained a paving company to do repairs and forwarded the bill to the Grant Co., although the price was far above the amount of damaged caused the...

Grant Co. agreed to pay for the repairs and made a check out to said paving company. ( See attachments). Mr. [redacted] picked a check at the Grant Co office, then sometime approached the paving company and asked them to endorse the check and he would give them $200.00 for their trouble. The paving company refused. When check was deposited un-endorsed the Grant Co bank refused to honor it. The Grant Co. feels that if Mr. [redacted] really wanted his drive way fixed it would have been already done.  Mr [redacted] can obviously live with the small amount of damage as long as he can put a decent amount of money in his pocket.
