Mr*** *** was a recent graduate of our CDL Class A ProgramHe has since applied and wishes tobe employed by Fed ExHowever, Fed Ex has to approve any CDL School not in their system prior toemploying Mr***Their approval process is extremely intricate and lengthyThis is a much
moredetailed request than to simply "fill out some papers" as Mr*** describesThey requestedinformation such as detailed explanations on each section of our curriculum, maps of our course, locationdescriptions and student qualification filesThey also requested copies of various materials such as ourtraining curriculum, training materials, written exams and completion certificatesWe are a NYSDepartment of Motor Vehicles licensed facility and we do not typically disclose these types of proprietarymaterials to any outside companyThis made completing the project more difficult as we had to figureout a way satisfy Fed Ex yet retain our privacy.Mr*** has called the school approximately 3- times since I have received the request from Fed Ex.I have explained each time that we are working on the project and would try to get it done as soon aspossible however this was not something we would be able to complete quicklyMr*** is veryfamiliar with our school and office staffWe are a smaller school with limited manpower and couldsimply not forgo our daily duties of running a business to complete this requestCanandaigua DrivingSchool is under no obligation to complete this process however it would be done as a courtesy to Mr.Decker and any future students who might wish to work for Fed ExIt is definitely not in our everydaycourse of business.As it turned out I was able to finish the request and emailed it back to Fed Ex on 1/A few hoursbefore we received the ComplaintI spoke to Mr*** and he seemed satisfiedHe said he would callthe Revdex.com to cancel the ComplaintI would also request this Complaint be cancelled and taken off ourrecordWe do our best to help our students receive a well-rounded education in the transportationindustryHowever we should not be held responsible for the requirements of an outside company.If there is any further information I can provide please do not hesitate to contact meI can be reached viaemail at *** or at ***.Sincerely,Sam ***General ManagerCanandaigua Driving School
