Review: They failed to return a deposit after notification attempts and have not claimed any damages or other reason for returning it. They are in blatant violation of state law regarding return of deposits.Desired Settlement: Return of deposit.

Review: I was a tenant of Candlebrook Properties for 1 year (from Dec. 20, 2012 - Dec. 20th 2013). As per the lease contract, Candlebrook has 30 days in which to return my security deposit (as well as a list of all deductions) and they have failed to do so. (I brought this matter to management's attention and they informed me that a check was mailed on Jan 15th and they provided me with the tracking information. The USPS tracking website stated that there was an attempted delivery/notice left back on Jan 15th; however, this was not correct as no notice was left and I was not aware of any delivery attempt. I contacted the post office on Jan 24th to request redelivery and recv'd confirmation that the item would be redelivered on Jan 25th. On Jan 25th, the item was not delivered. I contacted USPS on Jan 25th to notify them and they confirmed that they did not have the item and it would not be redelivered. I informed Candlebrook of this on Jan 28th and requested that they notify me on how this matter would be resolved and offered to pick up another check. After 2 follow-up emails, I still have not heard back from anyone at Candlebrook and therefore, I am proceeding to file a complaint with the Revdex.com and will be filing a legal claim (small claims court).Desired Settlement: A formal apology for their lack of professionalism/refusal to resolve this matter as well as the return of my security deposit with a comprehensive list of any deductions (as per our legal contract/lease).
