I received this letter the other day from Candor Auto ( see attached ) and I would like to respond. Candor Auto was the selling dealer we were the finance company
with the lein on the vehicle, as you can see on the title ( see attached ) to whom Mr. [redacted] is responsible for making payments to.
Mr [redacted] did purchase said vehicle on 2/12/2014 from Candor Auto and stopped by the dealership to make his first payment in person at which time Mr. [redacted]
handed him his payment book personally. Which we have a receipt for ( see attached ).
Mr [redacted] was several months behind on his payments and on 8/23/2014 we sent a repo truck to get the vehicle. We have a right to do so as stated in the
repossession agreement signed by Mr. [redacted] ( see attached).   Mr. [redacted] told the driver he was not behind in his payments. The driver said if you can
show proof of payment you can keep the vehicle. Mr. [redacted] produced no such proof so the driver took the vehicle. Mr. [redacted] then called Candor Auto
and was very verbally abusive to Mr. [redacted] threatening to sue him personally and Candor Auto. Mr. [redacted] said Candor Auto did not repossess the vehicle [redacted] did and that this matter should be taken up with them.
Mr. [redacted] then contacted us and was again verbally abusive. I attempted to defuse the situation and calm Mr. [redacted] I told him we had sent by registered
mail a statement of the amount due to get his vehicle back. And that if he paid that amount he could have the vehicle back. A copy of which I sent you ( see attached )
and which he also signed for. Mr. [redacted] went on to say he was suing Mr. [redacted] and Candor Auto for stealing his vehicle. Mr. [redacted] then stated he had sent
five US postal money orders for $400.00 each and in fact had he had the receipts for the cancelled money orders. I then stated to Mr. [redacted] if he did pay and
showed us a copy of the cancelled money orders we would return the vehicle to him with our apologies and a $500.00 Visa gift card for his inconvenience.  And we
would seek legal action against the person that cashed our money orders. I Then told Mr. [redacted] I would send this offer to him by registered mail which I did, a
copy of which I sent you ( see attached ).
Mr. [redacted] said it was too late he wanted to sue Mr. [redacted] and Candor Auto.  I again told him it was not a matter for them and if he showed us receipts he could
have the vehicle back.  He said he already had a lawyer and the lawyer said he could not show us the receipts. Which I still have not seen to this day. I did in fact send
a certified copy to Mr. [redacted] which this time he refused. I sent you a copy of the refused certified letter ( see attached ).
Mr. [redacted] also stated that his tools were stolen from the vehicle. This not our first repo we use a reputable firm for our repos and have never had anyone say
they had things stolen before. We have returned items to their owner several times in the past when we had to repo a vehicle. I do not believe there were any tools
in Mr. [redacted]'s truck when we took it back.

I am rejecting this response because: They are lying I never received a payment book from Mr [redacted], they only thing I received from Mr [redacted] was the wrong address to make payments to and no account number. And [redacted] is a silent partner in Candor.  And they did steal tools from that back of my truck. Also [redacted] is not a real business  No phone calls or letters stating that payments were not being received, just come and repo the truck. 80 percent of everything that they are saying is a lie.  No letters were sent to me about no payments. Like not receiving a payment book just that they know were to send the repo truck.  If Candor has nothing to do with [redacted] why is everything marked [redacted] from Candor. I want my 2500 dollar deposit back plus my tools. I have the wrong address that Mr [redacted] gave me.
