Review: Jimmy Dodson that represents Cain Creek Construction Company was asked by [redacted] on May 16, 2014, to put shingles on a rental house in Ringgold VA. Mr. Dodson looked at the job and said it would cost $1500 to complete the job with labor and materials. Mr. Dodson told Mr. [redacted] he needed $800 cash that day to buy the materials for the job. He would begin on the following Wednesday (May 20th, 2014). On Tuesday the new buyers of the property called and said they did not required new shingles. Mr. [redacted] called Mr. Dodson and told him he did not have to put the shingles on the house. Mr. [redacted] asked Mr. Dodson did he buy any materials and Mr. Dodson said no. Mr. Dodson said he was so busy, he was going to do it on May 23 the day he was suppose to begin the job. Mr. [redacted] told Mr. Dodson to bring back the $800 Mr. [redacted] had initially gave him to begin the job. Mr. Dodson said he would bring the money that evening to Mr. [redacted]. Mr. Dodson will not return phone calls, nor will he return the money given in advance for the job he was asked to do by Mr. [redacted]. The company is liable for this amount of money and not trying to resolve the issue.Desired Settlement: Mr. [redacted] would like for the $800 to be returned to him immediately.
