Caney Valley SS & Marine

We took our boat to Caney Valley on July 9, 2016 to find out why the motor wouldn't start. The first thing they tested was the spark and determined that was not the problem. The mechanic then checked the choke solenoid, which turned out to be the problem. They took the time to replace the solenoid right then. The entire process took about an hour. Unlike another boat repair on Yough Lake who could not find the problem after having the boat 3 times and were not interested in trying to resolve the problem, the folks at Caney Valley did all they could to get the motor running so we wouldn't miss another weekend on the water. Everyone from the mechanics to the ladies in the showroom were very nice. We now have not only a new mechanic for our boat but also a new place to store our boat during the winter.
