I am a animal rescuer and many many times foster in the Mid South I work with several different rescue organizations in the North East Ross N*** is one of the most generous and supportive rescue partners I have had in over years I am proud to know her and work with her and have trusted her with dozens of puppies and their mothers

I rescued my pup from Canine Commitment of New England and could not have had a better experienceRoss N***, the founder of CCNE, cares SO much about the animals in her care and does everything that she possibly can do (and she even pulls off some rescues that seem IMpossible!!) to ensure the safety, health, and happiness of every single animal she rescues and adopts outFrom the beginning of my application process, Ross was available to answer questions, provide information, and assist me with ensuring the dog I rescued was a good fit for me - and vice versa!! The application process was thorough but fair, and when it came time for me to meet my new fur family member, Ross was right there to explain everything and send us on our wayThe rescue is kept very neat and all animals are loved and treated as suchThe animals were all healthy and happy with tails wagging! After I brought my new pup home, Ross followed up to make sure we were transitioning wellIt's been four years since I adopted my furbaby and Ross and I are still in touch! When the time comes to adopt again, I won't go anywhere else! Ross and Canine Commitment of New England are top notch!!

My family and I have had great experiences with Ross and everyone at Canine Commitment My parents adopted a Shih Tzu dog through them a few years back and he came from a bad situation in Tupelo, MS to a home that loves him They also (in an unusual situation for them) helped me secure transportation for a puppy we found on vacation in Puerto Rico to travel up to us thru Save A Sato - and then helped the puppy's mama come up and find a home here They are willing to help pups and families however they can to find the best fit for both I cannot say enough about their commitment to the pups (and sometimes kitties) they find forever homes for across the area I refer friends to them and had friends from Boston adopt a sweet black lab from them It takes a ton of time and effort for many to make a rescue work and to find the right home for the dog and the right dog for a family - and it is not easy I am thankful for the tough work they do day in and out

We rescued a pup from Canine Commitment back in May The whole process from beginning to end was seamless and everyone I worked with at the organization was courteous, professional, timely in their responses, and truly cared about finding the right family for the right pupI would absolutely work with them again and look forward to it!

As a long time dog trainer and veterinary technician, as well as a former member of a rescue board of directors, I look at rescues with a very critical and experienced eye and often find something lacking These things that are lacking can be the condition of the dogs, the paperwork accompanying the dogs, a lack of support to the adopters post adoption, groups who meet adopters in parking lots out of state to skirt quarantine and health clearances You name it, I've seen it I've visited Canine Commitment on many occasions, often unannounced and I've always found a consistently clean facility When volunteers are in the building they are in perpetual motion cleaning any kennel as soon as a puppy soils it When I accept paperwork for a student applying to my training classes I can without a doubt know that the Canine Commitment puppies will not only have all of their needed vaccines, but I won't have to shuffle through confusing paperwork or jump through hoops to track missing information down This is not to be said for many other groups When anyone asks me about where to go to adopt a puppy Canine Commitment is my first suggestion for a visit and the location I myself chose for adding our own puppy I had many options and choices available to me and I could not be happier with the dog I have I thank them regularly for the amazing, compassionate, considerate and exhausting work they do

We have known the people at CCNE for over 3 years and have adopted 2 dogs from them over that time. So, I guess you could say that we are "repeat customers". 😊
We have also adopted dogs from other rescue groups and shelters. I much prefer adopting from CCNE because of the level of knowledge, care, and love given to the dogs. There is an adjustment period any time you bring a new dog into your home. I believe, from my experience, it is less when the dog comes from CCNE. The dogs have already been shown individual love and attention and seem to be better prepared and more open to a good forever home.

We have stayed in contact with CCNE, and will continue to, even bringing our dogs back to visit. They always remain loyal and true to the dogs - always keeping the best interest of the dogs their #1 priority.

Without a doubt, I whole-heartedly recommend Canine Commitment of New England and support the wonderful work they do.

After hearing positive feedback from friends who have gone through the adoption process successfully with CCNE, my husband and I decided to adopt our most recently-acquired pet through them. We were very pleased with the communication and support we received, as well as our new pet. I feel that CCNE displayed genuine care in proper placement of the animals in their charge. This is an EXCELLENT dog rescue. Our experience adopting a dog from Canine Commitment was wonderful. Ross does her job by matching the right dog with the perfect adopter. While in her care after being transported up from the south (as our dog was), they get so much love and attention which made for a great transition when we brought our dog home. This is a top notch rescue operation always keeping the well-being of the animals in mind. I recommend CCNE to everyone that wants to adopt a dog.

I have been involved with Canine Commitment for a while now. I started off as a foster for several dogs and housed them until they were adopted. I have nothing but positive things to say regarding the business. After fostering multiple dogs we ended up adopting a dog to live with us full time. They have the ability to deny potential adopters and do so when needed. They have guidelines as to who can adopt ( meaning they will not let you adopt if the dog will be home alone too long etc. ) I have recommended them to many many people who also have had very good experiences when adopting a dog. I have worked with the people of CCNE several times, through adoption of our own pup, and referrals of others. I have found them to be educated, communicative, responsive, caring and compassionate.
