Review: I bought a now 7 month old puppy from Canine Corral. I was told he was in good health and when I took him to the vet they suggested they also said he was in good health. I found out yesterday that my puppy has a deformity from which was caused by birth or a traumatic event before I got him. Because of Canine Corral's lack of competency I was told my puppy's surgery to help him would cost $5,000 and I would new to change his diets and put him on medication. I'm going to fight for a refund since Canine Corral has a disclaimer that they give you a new puppy if your dog has a [redacted].Desired Settlement: Refund

In response to complaint ID [redacted] purchased her pup on 4/**/2015. On our routine call backs, [redacted] stated on 4/**/2015 that everything was fine with her new puppy. That was the last time we spoke to her. We are requesting all medical records and diagnosis from her veterinarian. Please forward us this information asap. Thank You!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. They have refunded me the purchase price of my dog however those expenses don't even begin to cover my vet costs.

Review: I bought a puppy from canine corral and now 8 months later it find out she has a [redacted]. I have always taken this puppy to the vet I was told to go to from canine corral in order to keep my warranty intact and they never discovered her being sick. I was unaware of this illness until she was hospitalized and needed major tests done. After all was said and done I paid close to $3000 in bill just to find out that she has [redacted]. This is a [redacted]. Now she needs a special medicated diet, and two different medicines for the rest of her life. Canine corral told me the only thing they could do for me was give me another dog. After this experience I couldn't afford another dog even if I wanted to, but also I do not trust that a new dog would even be healthy.Desired Settlement: All I asked of canine corral was that they would refund me the money I spent on my dog. They were supposed to sell me a healthy puppy and in fact she was not. Now I am going to have extra bills each month to take care of her. The puppy was only $1300 and I have already spent $3000 in just the recent medical bills for her. This puppy is a big art of our family but it will be a financial burden for the rest of her life. I am not asking canine corral to pay all of her bills but just at least what I paid to buy the dog from them.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and they did not meet all of the desired settlement in which I requested, they did however refund me for the "price of the dog" , $1195.00 although my total bill paid was $1298.00. They told me that tax could not be refunded, which was not clarified until today. Meanwhile these arrangements were met a couple of days ago.
