Canine Country Club of Raleigh Reviews (%countItem)

The most caring and professional grooming, kennel, daycare, and dog play place I know. My Bichon Frise is always happy there. I recommend it to everyone.

I could not be happier with this grooming and boarding facility in their treatment of my multiple dogs. They took very special care of my rescued Foxhound when he had to be boarded! He is easily terrified of loud noises and rapid or perceived threatening movements due to his previous abuse/neglect. All of the staff at Canine Country Club and the owner herself helped to nurture my baby and assured both him and me that everything would be fine. He and my Collie continue to be groomed there monthly. Every time my dogs walk in they're greeted so sweetly by everyone. The staff is very careful while grooming and walking my dogs as they know that my boy is a flight risk. They genuinely care about their clients - people and dogs, and do everything they can to support rescues in every way!

I have used Canine Country Club for boarding and grooming of my dogs for over 25 years. We have had large and small dogs groomed and boarded on a regular basis and have had nothing but positive experiences every time. It's obvious they are very conscientious and pay close attention to the needs of your pet. We moved from North Raleigh to Cary almost 20 years ago and still commute to Canine Country Club for the needs of our dogs - I can not recommend them highly enough!

Thank you, We appreciate your kind words and your business

Bias against big dogs. This place kept my puppy a month ago and there were no problems noted. I scheduled a visit the weekend of July 29th. Upon pick up they informed me that they did not feel that their facility was a good fit for my pet because she pulled during walking, she paced in her kennel, marked in her kennel, and had diarrhea. She also told me that she gave my dog some of their dog food. I informed them that this is why she had diarrhea. They were informed during last visit that she had a sensitive stomach which is why I brought our own food that they did not feed her the entire visit. I also asked why we couldn't have used a choker or face muzzle during walking. There was no answer. They then tried to say they had a weight limit that was not disclosed during first visit and during drop off of second visit. On website only statement about weight is they have a 25 lbs policy for doggy day care NOT boarding. I also asked if there were so many problems why did they not call me or any of the emergency number left with them to give us an opportunity to come get our dog or just to be informed. There was no answer. This company has bad business practices.

We love big dogs and have many big dog clients for grooming, pet sitting and older dogs that are calm in our kennel that need a quiet atmosphere. We told the owner that this kennel is not the best fit for his dog as she stayed agitated most of her time here. She would calm down when we with her, which we did as often as possible but when left she would begin to jump on the door, pace back and forth and so on. She was here for two days and did not calm down. We believe that she needs a place that is bigger with a large play yard. We told Mr. this and he became very offensive and said we just didn't like big dogs. We liked his dog very much and just wanted the best for his dog. He then said we were very unprofessional and he would destroy us on social media and put us out of business. He went on yelling at me and wouldn't let me respond. Please come visit our facility, take a tour, meet our staff and look at what our 39 years of experience has created.
