The lock mechanism keeps failing, and Cannon tells me there is nothing they can do
I have a gun *** Cannon safe I previously had problems with the *** electronic lock I was changing out the battery every 1-weeksWhen I called Cannon they sent me a new *** lock without issues That was sometime in the middle of January I installed the new lock and set my personal code A month later and the new *** lock has "forgotten" my code I called Cannon back and after being on hold for approximately 30-35min I was told "there is nothing we can do" Excuse me? This product has a Lifetime Warranty and I was told I would have to break into my safe or call a locksmith at my expense for their faulty productThis is completely unacceptable from an accredited business

Not honoring warranty
Totally dishonest customer serviceInitially denied safe was theirs when presented with serial number over a week agoSafe was bought at ***, and called *** and they called Cannon and spoke to James, and he confirmed that the safe was indeed Cannon'sSerial number is ***The key pad will not open the safe, and Cannon stated that I have to hire a locksmith and pay for it myselfLocksmith is $! Read Cannon's warranty, and they state that their safes have a "lifetime" warranty, on fire, break in and DEFECTSIf the keypad will not open the safe, that IS a DEFECT!

I own several Canon Safes for my business to lock up valuables The keypad locks fail regularly So for my personal safe I ordered a fingerprint safe It works pretty good so far However, in a move we lost the key My fault Batteries died so I followed their replacement key procedure online and registered my safe and paid the $for a key replacement That was on Dec 3rd It is now Jan 21st They promised about to biz days Then when it didn't show, it was up to biz days Now that it's been over well over 30, i'm getting upset I have been able to talk to them (Alpha Guardian, inc) on multiple occasions, each time they make new promises or blame FedEx I've had one tracking number for the last weeks and it looked like it was arriving on the 17th! Nope It didn't and then the same tracking number said they were waiting for shipping info On the 18th they sent me an email confirming a NEW order for the key I ordered the first of Dec!!!!! lol unbelievable unacceptable Please don't EVER lose your key, and don't expect good customer service...it's more of a rat race...and so far the RATS are winning Still no key and my guns are being held hostage by my own safe Life lessons

Defective locking mechanism on their safe, company is aware of numerous complaints from customers but will not correct the problem
***Safes locking system is defective causing the door to not openThe company solution is to send the same lock to replace the broken oneProblem is we have to pay a lock smith $to open the safe to put the same defective lock model back on the safeWe have researched this model and found numerous complaints from consumers regarding the same problemThis lock runs off a battery system which eats up batteries very quickly, so why put the same look back onThe locksmith we found to work on the safe says they work for Cannon safes and have to fix this problem all the timeSounds like a consumer scam to me, sell defective safes then send your contracted employee to charge $to fix it

I purchased a Cannon Gun Safe at Costco in A couple years after the purchase I started having issues with the safe opening on the first tryI called customer service and left messages and never got the issue resolved to my satisfactionThe remedy I came up with, on my own, was to touch keypad slow and firmThat seemed to improve the situationOn 8/2/my safe would not openI entered the correct code and could hear it click but I could not spin the locks openI called customer service and Joe A*** answered on the third ringLuckily, while I was on the phone with Joe I was able to get the safe open I told Joe the history of the key pad and he said let's get it replacedParts arrived yesterday (8/13) and I installed it todayIt was a 20-minute jobKeypad works great! Not sure if there is a new sheriff in the Customer Service department, but I am very pleased with getting this issue resolved and the service I got on 8/2/Thanks JoeYou Rock

Terrible customer serviceI ordered to replacement keys for a safe on November 26th and as of today, January 29th, have yet to receive themCustomer Service sends an email in January 10th saying they are on the way via Fedex, and the customer service rep doesn't respond to repeated emails asking why they never showed upAttempting to reach them on the phone is virtually impossible as you will sit on hold forever (minutes before I gave up)

What if at 3am a burglar breaks into your home and you roll over and put the numbers into your speed vault safe and NOTHING happens...poof you and your families DEAD....they have known about this flaw and have not recalled the safes...instead said buy a better battery..ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Stack On took my money, only $but still mine, on 11/for a replacement lock I have tried repeatedly to call, to email, and use their chat service, but either they won't answer or say it takes 12-days to be shipped Today is 12/
They will not even answer emails, and I waited another minutes on the phone today for someone to answer
It's only $but it is the principle of the matter Why would anyone do this over $15? Not the same country I served that's for DAMN sure All over chump change
At this point if I get anything it will be an item from their castaways, and I don't expect to get my money refunded
Just want to let anyone know who is contemplating buying one of their VERY HIGH DOLLAR items what you'll get if you need a replacement part of some kind......they will take your money, but apparently will deliver nothing and won't help you get it straightened out

Safe lock was defective Cannons sent a new one with missing parts Needed parts overnighted Refused to do so Locksmith has to come twice now to come back to open my safe Have written numerous emails regarding Cannons to compensate me somehow with my locksmith bills All my emails and phone calls have been ignored Locksmith opened my safe but it is not secure nor is it fireproof due to the lack that Cannons Safe has chose to ignore me

On 09/15/I received a generic survey via email asking to rate my customer service experience with Cannon Safes I clicked on the link and told them that a Revdex.com claim had been filed against them as well notifying my credit card company since I had not directly heard from them in weeks I told them any further discussion could be done through either the Revdex.com or *** I have heard nothing
On 09/27/I received a call from *** (***) that they had received a palette to ship I confirmed it was from Cannon Safe and explained to them that I had cancelled the order since it was to have shipped months ago I told her I was refusing shipment and to ship it back to the company They said no problem After talking to them, I went on to Cannon's website to check the status of my order It still says "processing" not "shipped" I received no notification
