Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:There is multiple areas of damage as indicated in the attached pictures dated 7/6/ Shawn C***, owner, nor Ralph have made any effort to contact me.My original complaint was left on the C [redacted] Tire voicemail 7/5/6:pm when the damage was noticed I took the car there 7/6/for Shawn C***, owner and Ralph to inspect the damageShawn explained that they had reviewed the security footage, but it was not detailed enough to determine if the damage occurred from the person who repaired the damage tire He said he would take a photo of my wheel and see if he could locate a replacement, this was Wednesday On Friday, 7/8/I called and spoke to Shawn who said he was having difficulty locating a wheel, I advised him that there were available from the Ford Dealership across the street He immediately sputtered "I'm not paying $750!", which was considerably less than the estimate I received from the dealership 7/6/to replace it He said that he was still searching for a replacement I told him that he was not going to put a used or refurbished wheel on my car I told him I'd speak with him on Monday No call from Shawn on Monday 7/11/ On Wednesday, 7/13/I called and spoke to Ralph and learned that Shawn had left on vacation on Monday Ralph said he would attempt to contact Shawn to find out the status and give me a return call Ralph did call me back 7/14, and told me that Shawn had requested from the security company additional footage from the security camera I filed the Revdex.com complaint on 7/14/and have heard absolutely nothing from Shawn C [redacted] or anyone from C [redacted] Tires. In response to the tire coming in already off the car, yes, that is correct, the tire was completely flat and not drivable However, if you look at the wheel and how it is attached to the car you will see that there is no hub cap to remove to get to the lug nuts, there is no way I could have done this kind of damage using a lug wrench to remove the lug nuts The major damage, where the wheel is missing areas, occurred when they were removing the tire from the wheel The additional scuffing, scratch damage occurred when they were pounding the wheel back into the tire.In response the cut it is exactly in place where the biggest area of damage occurred most likely from a piece of the wheel cutting into it in their attempt to remove the tire from the wheel. If you will view where the damage is located on the tire and the up close pictures of ALL the damage you can see that it could not have occurred by "clipping a curb" it is very obviously made by their technician The technician assumed that the wheel had a wheel cover and was in two parts, which it is not it is all one piece, and used a tire bar to remove the tire from the wheel. Also, neither Shawn C [redacted] nor Ralph has made any attempt to contact me to view this "security footage", but I was told when I went there 7/6/that they could not ascertain from the footage what had happened because it is not specifically trained to one area, but is a camera that shoots footage of the entire shopRegards, [redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason the complaint will be closed Answered]

I brought my tire in to have a flat repaired, during the process of fixing the flat they damaged my wheel in multiple places, they are not taking ownership for the damage to replace the damaged wheel

The customer brought in her wheel in the trunk of her vehicle needing the tire repaired The tire had been removed from the vehicle prior to her arrival by another individual After close review of our security footage, we determined that the damage to her wheel did not occur at our
business Through close inspection of the wheel and tire, there is a cut in her tire directly above the damage on the rim which appears to have occurred at the same time From our vast experience, this looks like it could have been caused by clipping a curb

I am rejecting this response because: C*** tire has stopped all communication with me and has not shared any "security footage" with me

As previously stated, we did order the security footage and closely reviewed the process and manner in which the customer's flat was repaired.  The description of the customer's presumed cause of the damage while it was here at the shop is simply not factual.  The damage to her wheel did not occur while the tire was repaired at our business.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:There is multiple areas of damage as indicated in the attached pictures dated 7/6/2016.  Shawn C[redacted], owner, nor Ralph have made any effort to contact me.My original complaint was left on the C[redacted] Tire voicemail 7/5/16 6:19 pm when the damage was noticed.  I took the car there 7/6/16 for Shawn C[redacted], owner and Ralph to inspect the damage. Shawn explained that they had reviewed the security footage, but it was not detailed enough to determine if the damage occurred from the person who repaired the damage tire.  He said he would take a photo of my wheel and see if he could locate a replacement, this was Wednesday.  On Friday, 7/8/16 I called and spoke to Shawn who said he was having difficulty locating a wheel, I advised him that there were 5 available from the Ford Dealership across the street.  He immediately sputtered "I'm not paying $750!", which was considerably less than the estimate I received from the dealership 7/6/16 to replace it.  He said that he was still searching for a replacement.  I told him that he was not going to put a used or refurbished wheel on my car.  I told him I'd speak with him on Monday.  No call from Shawn on Monday 7/11/16.  On Wednesday, 7/13/16 I called and spoke to Ralph and learned that Shawn had left on vacation on Monday.  Ralph said he would attempt to contact Shawn to find out the status and give me a return call.  Ralph did call me back 7/14, and told me that Shawn had requested from the security company additional footage from the security camera.  I filed the Revdex.com complaint on 7/14/16 and have heard absolutely nothing from Shawn C[redacted] or anyone from C[redacted] Tires. In response to the tire coming in already off the car, yes, that is correct, the tire was completely flat and not drivable.  However, if you look at the wheel and how it is attached to the car you will see that there is no hub cap to remove to get to the lug nuts, there is no way I could have done this kind of damage using a lug wrench to remove the lug nuts.  The major damage, where the wheel is missing areas, occurred when they were removing the tire from the wheel.  The additional scuffing, scratch damage occurred when they were pounding the wheel back into the tire.In response the cut it is exactly in place where the biggest area of damage occurred most likely from a piece of the wheel cutting into it in their attempt to remove the tire from the wheel. If you will view where the damage is located on the tire and the up close pictures of ALL the damage you can see that it could not have occurred by "clipping a curb" it is very obviously made by their technician.  The technician assumed that the wheel had a wheel cover and was in two parts, which it is not it is all one piece, and used a tire bar to remove the tire from the wheel. Also, neither Shawn C[redacted] nor Ralph has made any attempt to contact me to view this "security footage", but I was told when I went there 7/6/16 that they could not ascertain from the footage what had happened because it is not specifically trained to one area, but is a camera that shoots footage of the entire shop. Regards,

September 11, 2015Revdex.com7007 Jefferson St. N Ste. A Albuquerque, NM 87109Re: [redacted] — ID [redacted]To Whom It May Concern:This letter is in response to the complaint that was filed by [redacted] referenced above. I have carefully reviewed the complaint as well as the customer and...

vehicle repair history here at our shop. When looking at the history, the vehicle was in our shop on 10/2013 at which time we installed three new tires. We informed [redacted] that he had worn out parts (his front struts needed to be replaced) and his vehicle needed to be aligned. In addition, during subsequent visits, we continued to make him aware that he needed to replace his struts on his vehicle and that he needed to have it re-aligned once the bad parts were replaced. This is verbally reviewed with the customer at the time of cashing out, in addition to being noted on the customer invoice that they sign upon leaving the shop.We take great pride in the work that we do and are committed to making our customers aware of any concerns that we find when their vehicles are in our shop. However, we can't control if or when those repairs are completed and the amount of damage that may occur as a result of worn parts. The uneven tire wear was clearly a result of worn out parts on the vehicle and it being out of alignment as a result. We informed [redacted] of this finding at 176,777 miles and the repairs were not completed for another 31,686 miles.Thank you for your review of this matter. Please don't hesitate to contact me at [redacted] if you have any questions. Sincerely, Danielle *. C[redacted]Vice PresidentCannon Tires, Inc.
