I am in-house counsel for Canon U.S.A., Incand am writing on behalf of our subsidiary, Canon Solutions America, Inc., successor-in-interest to Canon Business Solutions, Inc(hereinafter “CSA) in response to your letter of November 18, Ms***'s complaint does not indicate what brand
printer she purchased or where she purchased it, so I am curious as to why you forwarded it to CSAI can tell you that CSA does not operate any rebate programs on the Canon printers itsells, so there would be no way that CSA could owe Ms*** any rebate monies or assist her with her situation.That said, upon receiving your letter, and in a desire to assist a dissatisfied Canon customer, CSA reached out to Ms*** for more informationShe forwarded a receipt to CSA which they forwarded to my attentionAccording to the receipt, Ms*** purchased a Canon PIXMA PROprinter and related accessories from Canon U.S.A., Incon August 18, I am currently trying to find out more information regarding any rebate claim submitted by Ms*** to Canon USAAs soon as I find out more information about the terms of the promotion she referenced and the materials submitted by Ms***, I will be in touchPlease direct all further communications to my attention.Very truly yours,CANON U.S.A., INC. *** ** *** *** ***

Following up on my letter of December 7", please be advised that Canon U.S.A., Inc(“Canon USA) has investigated Ms***'s complaint and determined as follows.Entitlement to the rebate requires submission of a valid rebate claimCanon USA had no record of a submission from Ms***However, our Customer Service department reached out to her in light of her complaint and, after obtaining proof of eligibility, approved her claimShe will be receiving the $rebate.The delay in processing her rebate claim could have been avoided if your office had initially forwarded her complaint to the correct company (Canon USA) rather than to Canon Solutions America, Inc., an independent company that does not even sell this product (and which was never even referenced in the customer's complaint)I would appreciate it if you would remove this complaint against Canon Solutions America in the Revdex.com's records as it was clearly misdirected by your office.In any case, we are pleased to have been able to resolve this matter to the customer's satisfaction
