After two months of continous phone calls (sometimes several per day) from Green World Pro, we took action We made an appointment for the sole purpose of complaining about these callsWe were told the company would be SolarWorldNOTE: SolarWorld is a solar panel manufacturer, not an installer The company turned out to be Canopy EnergyThe sales person stated that Canopy and Green World Pro are the same companyWe told him we would not do business with Green World Pro or any company associated with themThe salesperson apologized for the phone calls and said we would be removed from the call list Take note Green World Pro/CanopyAny time you call, we'll make an appointmentI file a complaint for every call with the FTCIn addition, I am registering as a participant in the recent class action suit

My father in law recommended us to do a solar system with Canopy Energy, he has their system for years, it works great and basically making money for him Canopy replaced my all roof and also installed their solar system, The workers were very professional and friendly They answered all questions no matter how silly they wereThey did their jobs very professionally and even cleaned up after themselves Great experience, Highly recommended

On August 11, 2018, Canopy Energy sent out a sells person to our house to sell us a solar system, we were advised that in order to move forward we had to pay a $ [redacted] down payment for the site inspectionThe contract states order is contingent on [redacted] approval of engineering plans Deposit will be refunded within days if [redacted] rejects engineering plans Site inspection was completed the week of August 13th We then received a call from there office the week of august 13th, and I advised that we were rejecting the engineering plans and to return the money they advised that they would not return the money, my wife contacted the person who called and she would not reason with her and was very argumentative with her, my wife had to hang up on her, she then called and left me a very disturbing message attacking my wife The only person who will talk to us is the sells person, the sells person reached out to the owner who emailed me on September 26th and advised th

The salesman [redacted] told me my contract was canceled months later I receive a demand letter for $ [redacted] from canopy energy After site inspection when I found out I had thousands of dollars in permit fees I had to take care of I canceled my solar contract with canopy energy spoke to [redacted] and he confirmed the contract was canceled months later after spending thousands of dollars to get my house up to code and the open permits closed I decided to take care of solar During the months I never heard from canopy and they never followed up with me to see how the process was going with my permits when I was ready I met with another solar company called Freedom Solar who I was refereed too They gave me a great deal on a solar system and upgraded my electrical box Two days after getting my solar system installed I received a phone call from a very rude lady named [redacted] from canopy energy she said they drove by my house and saw that I installed solar and demanded I tell

I am so glad that I was highly referred to Canopy Energy for my solar panels I met with a consultant, Brandon Edgley, who was wonderful He went over everything; answered all my questions several times, and I could tell that he was not just looking for a sale He called DWP to see how many kwts I used a year and then went to do his numbers I could tell that he really cared about my needs and was not a fly by night consultant I called my CPA and had him go over the numbers quoted and he said that they worked out to the tee Brandon knew exacly how many panels I would need and was at my house when they came out to measure He kept me abreast of everything that was going on He was at my house when they started installation of the panels, and was there when they finished, to go over all the workThe panels that were used were of highest quality He is one of the best consultants that I have ever worked withgreat morals and ethics along with complete follow through which is so importantI have never had [redacted] like I received from Canopy Brandon kept me in the loop on everything DWP should be turning the panels on by the end of the month This is the best company that I have ever worked with I highly recommend themIf you are to call for an estimate, ask for Brandon There is nobody else like him!

There presentations are greatThe sales associates are clean and well educated and very informative on how the program is implemented to save money and gain more energy through renewable energy

My solar connection has been delayed months because Canopy has been remiss in filing for an aggregated connectionive been paying lender & PGE both

I now have a Lien on my Home due to Canopy Energy's fraudulent business practices I have not been able to contact a live person at Canopy since receiving the notice of the lien My original contact email for Victor *** is no longer working and there is no way to speak to a live person when you call

Canopy Energy failed to submit rebate form to DWP for incentive and J*** continuously lied to me that he would provide payment for the mistake
I agreed to install a new roof and solar system in my home in February It was an extensive job ($***)Within the contract rebate incentives were establishedOne from the company for $*** which was paid and another for $from The Department of Water and Power (DWP)Canopy Energy was supposed to submit a rebate form to DWP within days of the completionThey failed to do so and when I contacted them, I was told that the company would provide the payment to me because it was their mistake It was also stated that the check would be mailed to me no later that July 31, That NEVER happened I have made at least calls to the company*** *** is a completely unethical person who has continuously lied to me and refuses to return calls

Good company to work withI liked that the sales person who came to my house was professional and politeIt took a few hours to get all the finances in order, but we did qualify for the PACE program that he offeredThe installation process was easy and they were in great communication how everything worked and what our their next step was in the processI would defiantly recommend this company to my friends and family

I looked at solar companies before going with Canopy Energy
Emillie was the salesperson who helped us decide everything, she was with so much knowledge about the whole system and install process than the other companies we met with The installation crew really worked hard and they were really professionals, they worked harder than to install this spot but they did it with a smile!
Our solar has been running for about weeks and I could not be happier, it is producing more than they predicted so far
I am extremely pleased with my solar system, I'm definitely recommending canopy energy to my brother who also wants to go solar

Canopy Energy installed solar at my house in South Orange Conty back in SeptemberInstallation was great , but now months later and one of my panels is not workingI have been trying to get a hold of customer service everyday for a month and can not get a responseIt just goes to a voicemail and says someone will get back to meNothing!!!! I spent k to have this system installed and now I have a problem with it, but no one will help!!! I have lost the output of one panel for almost a month, and who knows how much longer it will take?

My elderly mother (*** ***) is getting unwanted calls from Canopy Energy located in Van Nuys, CA
The sales person who called wanted to schedule an appointment with her My mother was ill at the time and she told her that she wasn't interested in what the caller was selling But the next week the sales person called and wanted to reschedule an appointment I told her no, but I'm afraid she will call again no matter what any one here says I don't like her unethical business practice of lying

After spending countless hours researching different solar firms, speaking to sales peopleI can say Canopy Energy are among the most professional, committed and ethical people I have been affiliated with, and I recommend them without reservation Very good with communicating every step I was well informed about, Installation was very smooth and quickI can't believe more people aren't doing solar systems
