I am rejecting this response because: This was a new truck only a week old with no scratches on it when I brought it in on the 7th of Feb to Canopy World to have a bed liner installedIt on this basis that I do not accept the response from them

On 2/09/2018, Mr*** came in to our shop for his bedliner appointmentUpon his arrival, there were multiple customer on siteMr*** said who he was, and handed the keys to CollinAs he handed the keys to Collin, He said" They scratch it, they buy it"They were slightly behind schedule,
so it wasn't pulled around immediatelyAs soon as Greg was free, he backed the truck by the shopIt did not get pulled into the shopThere was already a truck in the shopThe manager, Brandy went outside with Greg and was watching the whole installGreg got into the bed of the truck by lowering the tailgate to climb inThe bedliner was pulled into the truck by way of the tailgate opening onlyGreg climbed over the liner and stepped on the liner, and went back out the tailgate openingNothing was pulled over the side of the truck, no one was close to the sides of the truckWhen finished with the install, Greg pulled the truck back around to the frontThe customer finished paying for the liner, Greg handed Mr *** his keys, and Mr *** walked outsideHe walked around the truck and stopped right as he went around to the driver side of the truckHe stopped and then started walking back into the officeHe said to Brandy, " you guys scratched my truckI did not have any scratches and now I do." Brandy told him that she was out there the whole time and that she didn't know how that scratch could get there, since there was nothing or anybody around the sides of the truckShe stated that she was sorry that it has a scratch, but it didn't come from usIt was all done through the tailgateThe customer said that he was going to talk to his insurance about it. Please add the following to my rebuttal. In the company's response it was written, " Upon his arrival, there were multiple customer on site. Mr. [redacted] said who he was, and handed the keys to Collin. As he handed the keys to Collin, He said" They scratch it, they buy it". "I was the only customer on site in the waiting room of the office and I was unaware of any other customers on the property. As I identified myself to the individual names Collin, I did indeed hand my keys to him and remarked, "They scratch it, they buy it." This was said as we both were standing on the drivers side of the truck where it was plainly visible that there were no scratches on the vehicle of the rear fender. Upon bringing the truck around, I noticed a 9 inch scratch through the paint and brought this to the attention of Brandy. So the question reminds, how did it get there except by the individuals who installed the bed liner.Kind regards,Robert E. [redacted]
